NOW glass jaw Geno should press assault charges. Doing that would still cause all of the same harm to the Jets if IK were unclaimed. Police interviewing the players, clubhouse in circus mode (even more than it is now) the full story behind Geno's actions leading up to his bitch ass getting clocked, etc.

Yet his loyal foot soldiers can't see it, they are like fuckin Tebow fans, they support him not the team. I see what you did there....

I said this would happen yesterday, who ye of little faith told me no way? Interesting to see your take given your loyal support of Rex to the end. So you think this reflects positively on Rex? I was always a Rex supporter, but am really disgusted by this move and it makes me second guess his judgement during his tenure with the jets more. IK requires therapy, not another NFL lockeroom, much less one where he will meet Richie Incognito.

Actually that was Lorenzo Mauldin, specifically. And he is still a Jet. Your one stop spot for all training camp news about IK before the glass jaw Genocide, in reverse chronological order! It's annoying. I wish they would have fined him or something, but he had to be cut. There was no choice really. Maudin was the one destroying on those bell drills right? I was sure it was him and not IK.

LOL BAM!!!
Rex sucked while here, now it's good for Rex. SOJF is so confused!
As I said, I liked Rex but thought t was time to move on. I just do not blame him and think now with him gone we r gonna b great. The problem the last 2 years was a lack of talent. That job falls on the GM. The coach coaches the players he has. We didn't have NFL caliber players. This joke of a franchise is run by incompetent fucking morons. Why r some teams good year after year, decade after decade, coach after coach and QB after QB.? With a rare down year. While we suck year after year with the occasional run? R they just the luckiest teams in the league? And we r just unlucky? No. It starts at the top. And the jets have proven to b clueless in so many important aspects of running a football operation. And these r the results. You've been whining non-stop the last week about how the Jets are still clueless, not even giving the current regime a single regular season game.
Not everything that happens on the team is always the fault "up top."
Bowels will need time to change the culture and build his team, he has a hell of a foundation to do that, the Geno situation sucks all the way around, mostly for him as a player, maybe it winds up being a good thing for the Jets. Geno, if he matures, has the ability to take us to the next level, not sure Fitz, with his physical limitations can, his smarts, we know, will be a plus.
Stop with the "joke of a franchise" crap. You can't claim that spin since Parcells took over this team back in 97. Maybe for a bit under Herm.
I'm a Rex fan, I agree with most of the knocks against him, and the lack of accountability he had as HC of his teams, but as a fan, who has been suffering for quite a while myself, dwelling on the negative in the belligerent manner that you do makes you look like an assclown!

Mac needs to find another young LB, will be interested to see the cuts as they come in.
Is the kid from PSU, Barnes an OLB or does he also play inside?

Eh Pace, Mauldin, Reilly, Barnes, Coples, Babin, Howsare all at OLB Along with Williams, Talley, Vickerson, Williams, Bowen, Douzable, Walls, Sheldon and Wilk on the edges Still need a pass rush which hasn't changed for the past decade but not looking terrible, decent depth

Out of all the coaches, including parcels, Herm was most successful in many ways - playoffs 3 out of 5 years. I have not bashed Bowles or Mccaggan either. Although I was on Maccaggan for not drafting a WR in round 1. And was upset about Devin smith getting hurtt. But I also haven't been singing their praises or given them the benefit of the doubt (no one asaociated with this franchise deserves that). We haven't even played a single game yet. Time will tell, but to blame Rex for everything that was wrong here is stupid. He had nothing to work with here the last few years. Parcels changed the culture somewhat and we certainly haven't been 1-15 again since the 90s so that's good I guess. Oh, and I also hate met death stadium and want the team to move to Nome, Alaska. That's all.

I should note that I called this yesterday: link
BUT I WAS JOKING! P.T. Barnum is alive and well, he's working behind the scenes for Roger Goodell.
