Lamont Jordan. I like Stacy, but he drives me nuts with his pitter/patter/dancing feet....like Jordan did. He thinks he's Barry Sanders but should just be a one cut/downhill runner. He tries to juke too many times in 1 run that it diminishes his advantage which is a powerful low center of gravity. I still think he makes the team.

He does dance a little too much considering his battering ram shape, but he impressed quite a bit after a slow start in the offseason. Decent hands too for a bruiser.

Says "bowling ball" to me Call it what you like but not a downhill runner. Wow, I thought you were kidding at first. You really think a 5'8 220lbs RB (actually listed as 5'9 224lbs) should be trying to juke? To each his own I guess. Agree to disagree.

To me he is like Sproles or Woodhead on roids, Jacobs or even Davis fit the downhill bill Stacy is a tweener not small or quick enough to make the D play squash the ant and not big enough to power his way through. We need backs that move forward any way they can we haven't had a decent back since Jones.

Woodhead and Jacobs should not be used in the same sentence...
In any case, I'm happy with our backfield. We have probably one of the best depths at the position in the league.

He (Richardson) is not a between the tackles type of runner. Stacy is more like Doug Martin IMO. Thomas Jones was listed as 5'10, 215lbs.

I think keeping him is a no brainer and he is going to do very well for the Jets this year if given the chance. His moves take place past the los, not in the hole imho, that's also a plus, and he has excellent hands as a receiver

Powell and Ridley ain't too shabby either.

Not sure if you DVR'd the game, but if you did, take a look at it again. I think you'll see that there were a few times when he should've just planted his foot and burst forward as opposed to dancing and becoming flat footed. Let me know what you think if you get a chance to re-watch. I agree - a no brainer to keep him.

I know our line has been suspect.
