“We were listening to the Patriots radio broadcast for the majority of the first half on our headsets,” Tomlin said after New England beat the Steelers 28-21 on Thursday night in the NFL opener. Responding to a report on the TV broadcast that the Pittsburgh coaches lost the ability to talk over their headsets, Tomlin said, “That’s always the case.”
“Here?” a reporter asked.
“Yes,” Tomlin said.www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/headsetgate-steelers-mad-radio-problems-patriots-article-1.2356330You got to be kidding me! The Cheats cannot resist the temptation and have ruined the game.

Cheaters gonna cheat.
At this point, I'm hoping that the Pats go with their fans' bizarre idea of walking away and setting up their own league.
The NFL will go on, and the Pats can enjoy cheating the Washington Generals during their 128-3 victories.

LOL
I'm not seeing what scrambled radio signals have to do with the Steelers kicker missing two FG's or that defense letting Gronk tear them a new asshole.
The Pats are a bunch of cheating cocksuckers but Pitt got the shit smacked out of them, period.

There is no excuse for how pathetic their coverage was but perhaps the lack of radio contact and trying to fix it was enough of a distraction to throw the coaches off their game. It is bush league bullshit and the home team manages the equipment not the league.

I say screw the radios if they always give you problems at Foxboro.
Just use hand signals and be done with it.

This incident is far from the first time a team has raised questions about headset issues when facing the Steelers.
2006 — Some Patriots staff audio interferes with Jaguars coach-to-QB communications at “crucial moments” during a playoff game. The same year the Lions and Bengals also report headset issues during games against New England.
2007 — The Patriots are investigated by the league for a “possible violation into the number of radio frequencies” they were using to interfere with the New York Jets’ headset system.
2008 — Karlos Dansby accuses the Patriots of tampering with the Cardinals’ coach and QB headset system during a Week 16 clash.
2011 — Jack Del Rio holds a Jaguars team practice without headset communications, because “that tends to happen in New England.”
