I know that we have a separate thread for Andrus Peat (who seems to be waffling a bit on his decision to stay), but I though it would make sense to have one thread to discuss underclassmen as they declare.
Just got an update from UGA that Leonard Floyd and Jordan Jenkins will both return to school next year. Floyd has been projected as a first rounder, and I have even seen him top 10 in some mocks, but I don't see it. I think he is better served with another year at Georgia. He looks a lot like an Aaron Maybin type to me right now -- all speed, but he lacks the strength to set the edge in the run game. He could use another year to add some muscle and hopefully improve playing the run. Also think it is the right move for Jenkins to return, I think he has a lot of upside and looked better toward the end of the season, but why declare early if you are not likely to be drafted until 3rd/4th round. I can see Jenkins as a possible first rounder in 2016.

Looks like the Jets may have pulled the trigger on a Louisville Safety one year too soon.

Looks like the Jets may have pulled the trigger on a Louisville Safety one year too soon. Holliman has a bunch of INTs, but the rest of his game is garbage. If you could combine Holliman and Pryor into one guy you would have a really good safety. Plus, I'm a bit skeptical about his listed height of 6'2". Last year Pryor was listed at 6'2" as well, and he actually was only 5'11".

With Pryor and Holliman we'd have A LOT of missed tackles in the back end of our defense. I'd take him in the 3rd if we had Ed Reed here to teach him some things, but I don't see that happening.

Todd Gurley makes it official -- announces he is will enter the draft. It will be interesting to see when he goes, given the way the RB position has been devalued and the injury. CollegeFootballTalk @cftalk 47m47 minutes ago To the surprise of no one, Todd Gurley's turning pro #collegefootball wp.me/p14QTT-1rx1

Or if the possibility of trading back into the 20's if Cooper or Gregory are off the board for some reason.

Even with the ACL we have to draft him if he is available in the second round, he is the type of talent our offense needs and is a complete back. I can't find any holes in his game...it's all there. Size, speed, vision, hands, and he can punish defenders. Parker or Peat in the first....maybe one of the QB's, and Gurley in the second is my dream scenario.

I'm not sure I do either but I'll jump all in if the new regime decides to go that route. I'd be more than happy with a Parker or Peat in the first and Gurley in the second. Cooper is overrated IMO and I hope we pass with a top 6 pick.

Peat....if he declares, or Parker in the first round would give any team a potential franchise type player that could thrive in any offense. It sucks that QB is yet again our Achilles heel and that's why I'm OK with one of the QB's.
