I wonder why he had to withdraw. Couldn't he just have declared like everyone else?

Still think he's going Top 10
I'm all about OL at this point.
Brick's play has fallen off a cliff, Winters is poop, and Breno is an average at best starting RT.

As much as I think Myles Jack would help, I agree with Rob & UT. Entire offensive unit is old -- starting with the OL. Just don't see how we can go into next season with Brick and Breno as our starting tackles and picking 20, there should be some decent options available.

who the hell looks like value @ 20 on the oline? Cause i haven't seen shit that warrants a pick at that number.

Alexander, Decker, Conklin Wouldn't surprise me after the combine if kids like Hawkins and Johnstone end up in that mid-late 1st round conversation either. The skill positions on O (in the 1st round) can suck a fat dick this year. Even if Treadwell (Boyd, Coleman...get the hell outta here) is on the board, I'm still investing in the trenches. Invest in a young, quality OL. Ours is turning to shit in a jiffy. I don't give two shits how much some of you guys devalue OL. Fuck taking these mid-late round "projects" who "may" turn out to be a solid starter 2-3 years from now. It's played out.

Two convergent thoughts there. 1-- Disagree about Conklin (for sure), probably Decker too. Need to watch more of the latter - but Conklin? Fuck that guy. He's no beast LT worth dropping my drawers over. I'm not adverse to taking Oline (CB and Dline I won't tolerate) but i have seen NOTHING outside of the top 2 to warrant that high pick. We'll see what Jan-Mar brings but like any other position, the talent has to warrant the value of the pick. Beavers amongst others provide the same, if not better potential in rounds 2-3 than reaching on these RTs. 2-- You make it hard to take you seriously when you say "Even if Treadwell is on the board, I'd rather have Conklin"... You're being dramatic... I'm with you on this being an overall weak RND 1 class for skill guys, but you can't put blinders on. We may not agree on Coleman, but i think Mac & co. will have with at least 1-2 Skill-Guys on our board for rnd 1 come draft day. Elliot maybe, Treadwell, etc. Why this convo in Jack's thread? He doesn't deserve this. edit* ah nvm. I asked. lol.

I'm surprised you get that vibe here. It seems like most of us would be more than happy drafting OLine and it will easily be my focus position leading up to the draft. I'd still draft Treadwell over anyone else if he miraculously makes it to twenty, which he more than likely will not.

It's the nature of the beast and many of these top prospects are competing in the Senior Bowl which is a fantastic platform for their stock to rise.
