Uh-oh, the media is starting to notice. Let's hope the Jets can stay under the radar like Marshall said

It doesn't mean anything if we come out flat against a wishy-washington Redskins team though. I'll be happy at 4-1, more convinced if we go 5-1.

We've had some TERRIBLE games vs WAS in the past - I recall some really boring 0-3 stinkers. Even though it's 'just' WAS and a non-conference game, this will be a statement game IMHO because these are the games the Jets traditionally find a way to lose - as well as their past history of very flat play out of a bye week.

Sat in nosebleeds at RFK which was good as there was a drizzle. Best friend with me who didn't have a dog in this fight shuttled mixed drinks to me. Worst game I've ever seen, but at least we won.

I just wanna see us play well outta the bye for the first time in 6 years...we were 1-5 under Rex.

Uh-oh, the media is starting to notice. Let's hope the Jets can stay under the radar like Marshall said Cant undersell this point; Watched Bowles's post-game lockeroom speech...then Rex's buffoonish presser after the Bills loss and there in a nutshell was the reason why (Noodle-armed Ditzy-Fitzy aside) we are in much better hands: First thing Bowles did was point out the penalties to the assembled team, then gave them props. Rex pulled his usual "confusing lack of discipline with toughness" act and totally excused his teams sloppy performance. We've all seen that act before. I'm sure the players LOVE rex, though. Oh yeah, he's cool. (and like SAR or hate him, he was one of the earliest posters to call this out on the old site and he was roundly beaten down as a SOJF...)

one of the earliest posters to call this out on the old site there was an 'old site'? It was a magical place where every poster, except one, got free tee-shirts every year. Unicorns and sh1t.

I'd answer that the Jets dominated a team throughout the game that had it's back against the wall and folded. I expected the Fins to be desperate and predicted a nail biter. While the jets did leave the door cracked open and not put the Fins totally away, the Fins were beaten soundly on both offense, and defense.

I was Impressed Sunday I really was, but I wanna see us come off the bye and bitch slap a team in our house to go 4-1. Do that and I might let myself get excited.

Hopefully it means the Jets will beat teams they should beat. Washington before the Pats is definitely another trap game.
And that 3-0 crapfest - Loiue Aguiar was the kicker, yes?
