I still say Cubs in 5 or 6. Good chance Cubs blow out Mets tomorrow. Cubs are the best team left in the playoffs no doubt. Best team doesn't always win. With Murphy playing at about triple his ability level, the Mets may just ride him as far as he can take them. |

 Lith & son at Citi Field. What an awesome night -- the stadium was electric and it was real nice to see Harvey looking, well, like Harvey again. Now we just need to find a way to beat Arrieta tomorrow night. Lets Go Mets!!! |

So do you guys feel confident? Like your chances more or less than the previous round? I like the Mets chances the longer the series goes. The Cubs have the best pitcher (Arrieta). The Mets have the better starting rotation of 3-4 guys. |

If the Mets somehow win tomorrow night then it's gravy and the Mets look absolutely stellar with deGrom still left to pitch twice if it somehow goes 7 games. Tomorrow night is a MUST WIN for the Cubs. 100% of the pressure is on them. Lose with Arrieta tomorrow and there's almost no way they win 4 of 5 against the Mets will Arrieta only pitching one more time. Life gets very, VERY easy if the Mets somehow.....someway....find a way to squeak out a win tomorrow night. LGM! Game 2 prediction - Mets 2 Cubs 1. |

Even the four hitter, he didn't have his usual commanding stuff. Very similar to Harvey last night who was obviously good, but gave up a lot of hard hit balls that unfortunately went right to players. I like Arieta going tonight, but Bryant and Rizzo need to pick it the f* up. They've been disappointing and the rookies can only carry them so far. |
