I chalk up every Arrieta start as an L for the Mets. that unfortunately went right to players. I like Arieta going tonight, but Bryant and Rizzo need to pick it the f* up. They've been disappointing and the rookies can only carry them so far. Nailed it. He's not the same guy from the regular season. |

Arrieta's thrown more innings by far than he has in the past, i think i heard, which could be part of it. They also noted somewhere that if the Cubs bats have a weakness, its against pitchers in the high 90s (go figure).
