that change to Bryant was nasty. You can't seriously be talking about the one he struck out on....that was belt high right down the middle. That was an awful pitch, he'd fortunate it ended up in the catchers mitt and not the LF bleachers.

deGrom just strikes me as a smart pitcher. Even if he's a little off he just finds a way to work around guys. I had no problem with that low pitch way out of the strike zone against Schwarber at 3-2. Stay away from the guy. He's their Daniel Murphy this postseason. But I liked how after that walk deGrom just goes right back into attack mode.

If you want to argue it was a good pitch, be my guest. It wasn't a good pitch. The result was good, that doesn't mean the pitch was. It literally is right down the middle, belt high, There isn't a pitch in baseball that is "nasty" in that location.

October 6th, a sad day in Cubs history. The Cubs entered game four of the World Series leading the Detroit Tigers 2 games to 1, and needing to win only two of the next four games played at Wrigley Field. A local Greek, William "Billy Goat" Sianis, owner of the Billy Goat Tavern and a Cubs fan, bought two tickets to Game four. Hoping to bring his team good luck he took his pet goat, Murphy, with him to the game. LMAO the goats name was murphy www.billygoattavern.com/legend/curse/

My comment wasn't about that one post. It was taking your comments in aggregate and just forming an opinion. Not particular to this one post. Sorry if I mischaracterized you, your comments just tend to seem very anti-Mets to me. My bad.
