Great game to watch. Jets are very good. Hope Mangold is OK, scary to see him go down like that. Agreed. Wins on the road against top tier teams are rare. Bowels said that it would come down to players making plays, and the Pats made more of them while the Jets left a few on the field. ironic the Pats say DO YOUR JOB; because Coples did not perform his task well; he was to collapse the pocket; but he freelanced and took himself out of the play. Brady got the TD a few plays later; after escaping for the 1st down thanks to Coples.

People who defend him say it's because he's out of position; if that's the case then he's an idiot because that means he still hasn't grasped what he's supposed to be doing out there. I say that because by all accounts the guy is a phenomenal athlete. So it's either that he's dumb or lazy. Or both. But whatever he is, it's clear he's a detriment more often than not when he's on t he field.

common REX - Coples will save your season; make that blockbuster trade...We would let Coples go for Sammy Watkins.

Now they are singing along with the christian song that wins when the person walls to the stage and clapping, tic tic tic tic I busted out laughing when I read this, and the previous post. Couple that with the loss, and I'd be looking for a rope to hang myself, or drinking Kettle One until I couldn't hear it anymore. Sorry for your pain.

I thought Coples would get "it" eventually and be a consistent playmaker, but it is apparent to me he is a waste of space and will never fulfill his potential. He has had his playing time limited. So, you would expect he would play harder. But, he hasn't. The guy has no motor. He is just a big body that goes through the motions. I am through with him. He clearly lacks desire and only plays football for the paycheck.

It is shameful that Calvin Pace, who will be 35 on Oct 28th, is the Jets' best OLB.

Coples got no such call from the CS (Did he swallow Brady alive? lol - been there, done that)

We probably overpaid for him initially since we were expecting massive sack #s after his great year in Arizona, but he's been consistently one of the best Jets for years now.

He's out of position to begin with..... Def think he's a goner after this season. If we can find a real OLB to add to Mauldin and Reilly then I say good riddance...
