Well at least they got to enjoy the offseason??
Rex didn't grow as a coach in his 5 years here, of course he wasn't able to now.
Anyone who didn't see this coming needs there head examined.

I'm not sure if they have completely turned on Rex...yet. However, I believe they will, sooner rather than later. That being said, I was a big supporter of Rex when he came to the Jets, and I truly believed the Jets had the coach who was going to restore respectability, and win a championship. I wish the guy no ill will, but I'm glad he's moved on.

Their fans got sold on all of the hype from the offseason, based on how they are reacting they will turn on him sooner rather than later.

Their fans got sold on all of the hype from the offseason, based on how they are reacting they will turn on him sooner rather than later. They fell for all of the bullshit just like we did. The brash talk, him painting his truck in Bills colors, guaranteeing that he'd build a "bully" and contender immediately, etc. It's like he does everything to endear himself to the team and fanbase to try and distract everyone from what an incompetent goof he really is. Make no mistake, the Bills hired Rex because of his persona first and foremost, not his coaching abilities. They already had a Top 5 defense in place and it has only gotten worse with his arrival. They hired Rex because he's a charismatic jackass who could make them somewhat relevant again regardless of the actual product on the field.

He'd sell matchbooks at the gates of Hell and make a fortune, but he's nothing more than the bloviating boob in the bar, looking to make eye contact with someone, anyone.... who hasnt heard his stories yet.

That was fast. We had two good years wth him at least. What did they get, about four weeks of cautious optimism?

No doubt about its intent, its all there. Might as well use the C word if your audience is wearing suits.

I remember at his initial press conference when he Scoffed at the fact that the bills defense was only ranked number four last year....
I guess it's time to bury a football.
