My ultimate concern is that regardless of how improved this team is, how much Bowles deserves Coach of the Year (premature, but we should all revisit after week 12), or how well played the game is, the Patriots will cheat and likely win. How many holding penalties aren't called against them? How many times will the ref *physically* push a Patriot into legal formation to prevent having to call a flag on a field goal attempt? How many illegal formations and picks will they get away with? We've reached a point where its not "haha what a fun rivalry they always seem to get away with this stuff" anymore. It's more "are you serious. are you kidding. Still? Really? Its been over a decade now come on." The Patriots generate profit though. The NFL legally has the equivalent of a religious institution's rights. They legally have courts affirming that they are "entertainment" and not "sports". I provide the below: " The Sports Bribery Act of 1964 which was passed to protect the "integrity" of sports from mafia and gambling interests. It reads: "Whoever carries into effect, attempts to carry into effect, or conspires with any other person to carry into effect any scheme in commerce to influence, in any way, by bribery any sporting contest, with knowledge that the purpose of such scheme is to influence by bribery that contest, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both." The key word in this law being "bribery." If a league instructs one of its employees -- be it an official, coach or athlete -- to influence and/or manipulate an outcome in a certain manner, such action does not break this law." www.thefixisin.net/theproof.htmlYour narrative is painted. Regardless of having been on physical record with evidence of cheating since 2007, the Patriots will go on an undefeated season to be called "The Revenge Season" for deflategate. Even if you get it on tape someone from the NFL will smash the tapes. The only thing that the referees can't stop? Sheldon Richardson snapping Tom Brady's leg in half. Please Satan, answer my prayer. More crying and whining from Jets fans. You guys are a sad bunch. and you are a piss poor troll - go fuck a dead donkey.

LOL TX has lost his touch bigtime. All he's got is whining that jets fans are "crying" when in reality we be speaking the pure gospel and it's upsetting him and the other chowderfucks who are filling this whole place with tears and delusion.

Shouldn't expect much better from their fanbase. When faced with facts and evidence they cower, throw ad hominem attacks, and destroy their cellphones. And thank you for the rep, my rep to posts ratio is solid.

Because I am superstitious and these threads usually get interesting - what should our game plan be on Sunday people?
How do we plan for the illegal pics? Scheme ideas for Gronk?
(Argh! Can a Mod fix my spelling and add the S at the end of Jets....)

as i see it, one of the biggest challenges will be getting the special teams to play well. last week's blocked punt was just poor execution and if the jet defense plays to potential, there are going to be quite a few punts by both teams. i'm not so worried about fitz. he needs to make good, quick throws . obviously ivory will need to break a few. once he gets into the secondary the patsie morons will learn what t's like to get hit. both marshall and decker should be able to have their way with the patsie corners but that will take a good pass protection. defensively, they need to hit brady early and often. one way to help is to take away the patsie crossing pick plays. maybe the jet secondary needs to flop like they do in nba games.

Interesting. I've learned the key to a Jets win is to flop and hit 'em late if necessary. Good plan that.

Oh, no, not key to a jets win silly.... a key to beating blatant chronic dirty cheaters and getting around their routine illegal maneuvers.

I'm way more concerned with stopping Edelman and Gronk than our offense vs the Pats - Ivory will run laps around their run D That's pretty funny. Ivory won't go anywhere with 9 in the box. What do you expect the Pats to do? Keep the secondary deep out of respect for Fitzpatrick's arm? That's the key right there. The Pats will pack the box and play bump and run. But can they still do this if the Jets counter by going spread with 4 wides, no TE, and Ivory as the lone RB? This should spread the field for Ivory. Also, the Jets have to at least attempt to throw a few deep. While it is tempting to use Smith because of his speed, I'd use Decker or Marshall because they could compete with the DBs for the underthrown Fitzpatrick heave.

Pats would not be able to to stack the box if Jets go 4 wide.

It could create some favorable match-ups for Smith and Kerley at the 3 and 4 WR spots.
