Brady would have been sacked 8-9 more times if their line didn't get away with the holding they did. Bowles defense works great against teams the rules apply to. Stop blaming the refs for Gods sake. We lost because they played better. Period. We hung with them but could not get it done. We get one more shot this year at least. Raiders are next and they are no cake walk. Especially at home. To deny that the officiating did not have some sort of impact on the outcome is ridiculous. A blatant missed false start resulted directly into 4 additional points. The Amendola TD also was extremely questionable and would have brought up a 4th and 1. I get not pinning the entire loss on officiating, but to ignore a few crucial calls went against us doesn't serve any purpose.

Really did not have that big an impact either way. Our play V.S. theirs was bigger. Looking forward to the rematch.

The game is simple. Brady is great, but he is just a man and no one can throw from their back. I was less disappointed in the scheme than i was our inability to get to the QB naturally with the talent we possess up front. I was so excited to see Leo, Mo, Sheldon and Snacks beat up Tammy, and instead we always seemed a step late. Also, Coples... See holding

They were Fuckin holding every snap bro, deny it if you want but some of us have eyes that can see it. We still got to the pink Fucker, but still, we would be too stifling and he would be injured and the NFL can't be havin that.

Now, we lost because of drops that would have changed the game... But we are having less of those. Cumberland sucks and Devin Smith can't fight for the ball. At least not yet.

there is no doubt that the patsies get away with more holding and pass interence than any other team. there is no way the scrubs they have in the secondary can cover anyone. even on that dropped pass to cumberland the db was holding his arm down and not even looking at the ball. a number of times decker's arms got locked up with the db.
but if there was one reason why the jets didn't win it's because they didn't stop the patsies much on 3rd down. a few times it was 3rd and long and the patsies converted.
as for the offense, they didn't convert that crucial third down in the fourth that led to another marginal punt and decent return. i think they would have done better to let weatherford do a fake punt on 4th and 1. well win the next 2 and be 6-2 at the season halfway point. not a bad place to be and much better than expected. and fitz needs to launch a few long balls to smith or marshall.

Right... I don't see anyone specifically saying "oh yeah, the holding, thsts what did it" but when ppl wanna cry about not getting to Brady I mean c'mon. But the fact is we didn't capitalise on opportunities we had.

We had our chances
Have to score more than 20 to beat them....especially with our defense not playing all that well

Holding, no holding, point is that we didnt get to brady - and thats why he was more effective in the second half and they were able to come back on us and build a lead. I am not concerned with bowles's scheme.

The dude(cheating or no cheating) is a HOF QB. He's also in his 16th year as a pro. Little to nothing confuses Brady at this point. This D had about 45 mins of solid tacking and blanket coverage. You need 60 mins of that to beat NE.

We got to,him a lot more than anyone else I've seen this far. Even with the holding and there was an awful lot of it. But we still got close where he felt scared. I was pissed we didn't absolutely destroy his ass on that one run he took off.
