1) Vadal Alexander 6'5 329, OT/OG, LSU. Great size for an OG. He would step in immediately for us at RG, but can also play RT when Breno gets older.
2) Hunter Henry 6'5 252, TE, Arkansas. Decent blocker and has great size. He doesn't drop many balls, and is underrated as an athlete. He's had a couple 20+ plays this season. Him + Amaro would be a great 1-2 punch. Arkansas offense vs Ole Miss 2015
3) De'Runnya Wilson 6'5 220, WR, Miss State. Not my favorite prospect, but big WRs thrive in today's NFL. He's a little raw with his route running, but he's way more proven than Hill and Smith. Let Marshall take him under his wing, and I think he could flourish here. He's great at boxing out CBs and can make difficult catches. Our offense would be unstoppable with; Marshall, Wilson, Decker, Hunter, and Amaro.
4) Mike Matthews 6'2 290, C, Texas A&M. Excellent pass blocker, but a little on the small side. He's part of the great Matthews bloodline and is a technician at his position. He can play OG and OC for us, but would give us great depth on our OLine.
5) DaVonte Fields 6'4 254, OLB, Louisville. He's a shitty person and was kicked off TCU. He has all the talent in the world, but a 2 cent head. It's a 5th rounder so you might as well go for the boom or bust prospect.
7) Stacy Coley 6'1 190, WR, Miami. Under used, but fast as hell and worth a flier in the 7th round.
I edited my post. I thought Yearby was eligible for this draft. Replaced him with another underrated Miami player. They almost always produce at the next level.

Interesting selections, doubling up on Louisville pass rushers. I'll sign up for just about any LSU olineman. I trust the pedigree.... and of course, it's not surprising that I like Hunter . Overall, not very familiar with this group as a whole though. What do you see happening at RB? Ivory is a FA, and I'm going to bet he moves on. Their careers are just too short to stick around for home discounts. I think he winds up as a well paid complimentary back in a place like TEN or WSH.

Has Alexander played tackle this year? If he was used strictly as a guard I would go another route because we need a tackle much more than a guard and I'm not drafting another guard early. If Winters can just clean up his passblocking a bit I think we go forward with him and Carpenter.
I like Wilson but I don't think he'll be around at the bottom of the third.
Edit....just watched the tape of Fields and I'm not a fan. He plays lazy and gets engaged with his blocker way too easily and then it's over. No motor.

I love Ivory, but I don't think he fits Gailey's offense that well. I'd love to sign Lamar Miller if the price is right. He has the speed to take it to the house and can actually catch.

He played 9 games at tackle his freshman year, and then got pushed inside. As he develops I think he could play OG or RT depending on your need. Yeah I'm not sure if Wilson will last until our pick in the 3rd, but I'd be up for using a late pick to jump a few spots to get him. I agree that wasn't the best tape of Fields, but it's the only one I could find right now. I've watch him a few times and he does run hot and cold, but in the 5th round I'm ok with a boom or bust pick. If Bowles can slap some sense into him I think he could turn into a steal. He also has a lot of experience standing up when rushing the passer.

I did a little more digging after I posted and now see that he has played Tackle. I'll watch some more tape on him but he sounds like a prospect I would be on board with although I prefer someone who projects to LT. Take a guy like Donovan Smith last year who everyone said was a RT at the NFL level. After watching his tape I easily thought he could play LT and I believe he's started every game for the Bucs as a rookie LT. That is the type of impact Olineman we need to draft. I'm not saying Alexander can play LT.......I just don't know yet.

i like the emphasis on OL and big bodied receiving targets, but i'd think a DB will be selected at some point. my hope is that we invest heavily into OL this draft and pick players that will alleviate the imminent burnout of the borrowed time throughout our OL and secondary. brick, revis, cro, breno, winters, pace, marshall - all guys whose replacements we will be counting on in 2-3 years. invest in them now. grab another QB to develop. thats 8 players we will desperately need to work out over the next 2 drafts. and yes, we really don't have a TE either.

I made a point of watching him lately, and consider round/value think he's the best bang for your buck at LT this year outside of Tunsil.

Obviously, I love your 1st round pick.
Wouldn't be opposed to Henry but I'd honestly rather fill the TE gap through FA. Dwayne Allen is a prime candidate. Won't break the bank and fits what Gailey wants to a tee. Damn good blocker and solid short/intermediate receiver. Allen and Amaro would be a nice pairing IMO.
Not really big on Wilson or Matthews. Would prefer a RB/OLB somewhere in there and I wouldn't touch Matthews before the 6th round.
Agreed that Fields is worth a stab in the dark at that point and Coley would be good value.

He has only one tape on DB and it was against Mich St. where he matched up mostly against Calhoun. After watching that only tape there is a lot to like. Pros: He has good feet and gets out of his stance quickly which is huge in my book. Does a great job with positioning against the defender. He plays hard and to the whistle with MAYBE a bit of a mean streak. He looks the part. Cons: He needs to gain strength in his upper body because he lets the defender get in too close with regularity, which also could be just a technical flaw. I didn't see any second level blocking but I can't blame that on him because he looks like he would be proficient at it. As with every prospect at this stage he will over-extend and get beat. Overall I like him and we normally don't see eye to eye when it comes to Olineman. Best part is he is participating in the senior bowl and I put a huge emphasis on the entire senior bowl week because of the level of competition.

Indeed the senior-bowl is huge for the men in the trenches especially (IMO anyway). Willie's no top 10 pick or anything, but it's all about identifying those value picks to plot out our draft.

He looks the part tonight. Glad to hear that. I just turned the game on now, because I was watching the Devils game. The announcers mentioned that he had an injury at the beginning of the year so it's taken him awhile to get back into football shape. That might be why his Kentucky tape was very hit or miss. He looked like an absolute beast his freshman year before he got kicked off the team.

My boy Matthews stones Fields, but Fields jumps up and knocks down his 2nd pass of the the 4th on 3rd and long.
