Game tape of Leonard Floyd reveals the most amazing find. I went to the film to see what I would like about Floyd and Jordan Jenkins kept flashing all over the Film. It wasn't the plays he made or the plays he didn't make, but the way he attacked the LOS, held his own going up against OTs who outweighed him by 40 + pounds and how he set the edges against run.
Not sure he's a 1st rounder. but the kid can rush the passer and set the edge with a sideline to sideline skill set. |

There's not a lot of Floyd love here if you ask around, lot more for Jenkins. I'd say he's a fringe rnd 2 guy - but we'll see how the rest of the draft season goes.
Floyd is the next Mingo maybe? an undersized lb who is utterly scheme dependent and useless in a 3-4? Part of me wonders if guys their sized maybe just haven't been training for the right things. There's not a lot of hope for them as a pass rushers, so maybe they should have been working on their ground game as a ILB? I don't know know, i don't pretend to be a Linebacker-whisperer.

I do like him better in the role as an Inside Linebacker , but in his role, I prefer Sua Cravens |
