Not the greatest coverage but that always seems to be the norm during the first practice. I noticed Beavers seems too be working exclusively at guard.....not good. Impossible to notice anything from the lineman with such limited coverage. Haeg looked decent on a couple of plays.
Going by the tweets it sure sounds like Spence will be moving up. I'm normally not a fan of players with baggage but I'm glad we are doing our due diligence on him. Could be a perfect fit for our Defense without the Smith injury worries.
Anyone else?

Hard to see much from the coverage -- Jack Allen, the MSU Center looked pretty good in the couple of reps they showed. Sounds like one of my Dawgs had a big day today -- Jordan Jenkins. Would be a steal in the 2nd -- I would much rather have him than Floyd.

I could see him carving out a starting role for the next decade while it wouldn't surprise me if Floyd is out of the league before his first contract is up. He's very comparable to Mingo. But at least Mingo possessed a sick spin move coming out of LSU. Floyd just constantly relies on running around OT's.

Sounds like one of my Dawgs had a big day today -- Jordan Jenkins. The next Mo Lewis? A guy good at everything but not necessarily great at anything? I honestly don't know very much about him.

Really happy that they're spending a lot of time with Spence. If he's got his act together he could be a monster in this defense. Then Mauldin can slide into Pace's spot. I also like Sterling Shepard and Dadi Nicolas. However, Idk if Shepard a fit with our offense since we use Decker in the slot.

I think Mo Lewis is a pretty good analogy to Jenkins. High motor guy, good size at about 260 -- something Bowles seems to like in his LBs. My only hesitation with him is he is not likely to be the difference maker as an edge rusher that we need. I think he can be a 3 down player and a 6 - 8 sack guy at the next level but not the double digit guy we are looking for. I will be very curious to see how he runs at the combine next month.

2nd day in a row that Cody Whitehair is getting some positive comments -- he has been mentioned in one of the other draft threads:
