Myles Jack will be gone by all reports. Jaylon Smith possible but injured Leonard Floyd, some people don't like how thin he is. Darron Lee? Don't know much about him, cbs sports compared him to shazier. Jordan Jenkins? 2nd rounder maybe more of an all around guy than pass rusher? Josh Perry? Noah Spence? Large character risk. Victor Ochi? Small school, small guy gamble?
Anyone have a pet prospect for pass rusher olb?

Realistically, I'd look to sign a guy like DeMarcus Ware for 2 years and draft a kid like Ochi in the 3rd/4th to groom and contribute as a situational passrusher in his first year or two.
Don't care for Floyd and as you said, Spence has a troubling background.
Jenkins may not be the speed demon that we all crave, but he's a very well rounded player and is a better athlete than people give him credit for. Wouldn't be opposed at all to taking him in the 2nd.

We need to hope that Mauldin steps it up in his second year. He might not have elite measurables but he has a motor and now a year under his belt.
Regarding the prospects, I have no idea, just depends on how the draft unfolds. We still have holes at almost every single position on our roster and whatever position we draft I'm sure anyone could make a case for it. Just no more DL.

I think Spence is clearly the best edge rusher in the draft that may realistically be available at 20. A guy in the mid rounds that I like who is not getting much attention yet is Kyler Fackrell. He's got some nice tape on him.

I agree. I am not sure what we are going to get at 20, but I don't think an elite pass rusher who will be a difference maker this season will be there. Maybe a guy like Spence will still be on the board, but as others have said, he is a character risk. Seems like there are a lot of swings and misses at first round edge rushers int he last few drafts. Bring in a proven FA who can make a difference in 2016 and take a mid round kid to groom. I would not be opposed to taking a shot a Jaylon Smith (assuming Jack will be long gone by our pick), but he is still not likely to contribute in 2016. Regardless of what we do in the draft, I do expect Macc will add a potential edge rusher in FA. Maybe Ware, Bruce Irvin, not sure who else might be out there that could be affordable.

Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith are not 3-4 OLBs, they would excel inside in a 3-4. I think you have to look hard at Smith's medicals and see what exactly was damaged. Some reports are that he tore his knee up pretty bad. If you draft him you are probably not going to get much from him this year, but I love him for this defense.

Speaking of Jaylon Smith: That's hard to beleive, his injury happened much later in the year than Todd Gurley and Gurley missed the first 4 weeks of the season. Maybe he could start football activity by the beginning of September, but getting him on the field ready to play is another thing.

Not sure this is good news anyway -- the better his medical reports are this spring, the less likely he is to still be on the board at 20.

I've heard nice things about Cowser, but I can't find any tape on him. I think Cowser is a 43 DE more so than a 34 OLB . I don't think that kid can play in space .

Can he rush the passer? that is the only freakin thing I care about. I'm soooo sick of having olbs that can hold the edge, read the play, try and cover someone (no one can other than Von Miller).
