True story, CPS killed my nephew. oh man RIP - but - GTFO - really? ========================================= Well to be honest my brother in law murdered Sean, but I have always held the CSD culpable. I'll try to be brief. I come from a good family, but my oldest sister who I love dearly has a history of making horrible emotional decisions. She married a low life alcoholic who never took responsibility and took advantage of his parents and who ever and what ever offered to give him money or assist him. He was from TN and after a particular period of heinous behavior my sister left him, moved in with my parents, and he moved back to TN. They had 2 children who at that time were 2 and 3. My sister loved the asshole.. One day she said she was going to the store and never came back, leaving her 2 boys with my parents.. I felt this was a terrible situation for my nephews and also for my parents and my wife agreed so we took the boys into our home with our then 2 year old daughter and they stayed with us for almost 3 years and had no contact with there parents... We had to get CSD involved cause it's the law and the kids needed occasional medical care, schooling and such. The state helped out with new shoes and Medicare and the boys became wards of the state and my wife and I were given "Temporary Custody". To be honest once more this was a great time in our lives as we settled in and were a family of 5. One day we get a call from CSD That my wife and her husband wanted the boys. My sister had driven form OR to TN and hooked up with her husband and they played the state of TN for all they could, gamed the system and acted all reformed. My wife and I knew in our hearts that turning the boys over to there parents and the CSD of TN was a horrible idea, there father was a cretin and my sister was a marshmallow. Lawyers and court when on for about 4 weeks and CSD workers had it all planned out that they should reunite the family, cause they took some classes in college and knew better then I who the children should be with and they got a judge to agree with them and the state of OR paid to fly the boys to TN to be with there parents and supervised by the CSD of TN. About 3 months go by and we get a call that Sean is on life support and things look bad. His father had decided to take the boys for a ride in his neighbors car, how he got the keys or where he was going no one ever figured out, but he loaded the boys up along with his nearly empty 1/2 gallon of vodka drove a 1/2 mile, lost control on a strait away doing a estimated 65 in a 25, hit a oncoming car killing the poor old guy in that car and also Sean.. Bradford escaped with just the imprint of the front seat upholstery imprinted on his face. The fathered had wrecked every car he had ever drove and did not have a license. This outcome was exactly what I had repeatedly predicted to the Judge and CSD. But they knew better then our family cause they had taken a college course and had experience in such things, a bunch of under educated over powered idiots who had the power to destroy lives. The father Ricky Newland was convicted of murder cause the boys were not in seat belts or car seats of Sean, and also for killing the other driver. He did 8 years and died two years after getting out of jail driving drunk into a car in Texas with a family of 5 in it, thankfully none of the 5 died and I understand recovered fully. May his sole continue to rot in hell. There are many more twists and turns to this story, but what I have related is true. The strongest man I ever have known is my father, I type with tears in my eyes as I remember MOm and Dad both collapsing to the floor and crying uncontrollably upon hearing of Sean's death. Some things you just don't get over.

Look - sounds like somebody FUBAR'd and a child disappeared. Not big government. People were upset; new expectations and there you are. What? Sounds like an 11 year had to play in his yard for an hour and a half (oh no!) and the bad actors were the dipshit neighbor that called the cops. The cops for doing anything but leave and get a donut when the parents showed up, the court system, so much the court system, and the cretin relative. Just outrageous all around.

CPS is a known money maker for the government. You'd be horrified to know the truth about that organization. Once they take a kid they will try to keep them for good. I had a friend that went through this over being associated with a few undesirables. Even though that kid lived in a multi million dollar home. Anyhow the money it cost him to get his child back was beyond insane and the hoops he had to jump through. Plenty of information out there about this. But hardly anyone will read it the same who wont read anything on prison and how it has become forced slavery since its sellout in the private sectors. They'll just keep grazing the fucking fields like that dumb fucking cow Geno Smith. To call them sheep is an insult to sheep. It is CYS in Pa, and they are jack-booted thugs. Sadly, the Judge's typically rubber stamp everything they do, which normally involves breaking up a family.

Once they're hooked, they can't stop until there's "No Child Left To Find".
