“He must be able to whip two men twice his size and half his age without damaging his uniform, and without being brutal. If you hit him he’s a coward, if he hits you, he’s a bully. The policeman from a single human hair must be able to describe the crime, the weapon the criminal, and tell you where the criminal is hiding but, if he catches the criminal he’s lucky, if he doesn’t he’s a dunce.
“He runs files and writes reports until his eyes ache to build a case against some felon who will get dealt out by some shameless shamus. The policeman must be a minister, a social worker, a diplomat, a tough guy, and a gentle man. And of course, he’ll have to be a genius, because he’ll have to feed a family on a policeman’s salary.”

At the end of the day, cops are human. There's good and bad, and the bad gets overblown, just like the good gets ignored, like everything else in life.

So you were doing nothing wrong, and cops put you in jail? You gotta share this story. That's exactly right... And then they just claim, oh it's a "mistake" yeah, it WAS a fuckin mistake you pulling me over and then come screaming motherfucker and shit at me, that's why that shit gets dropped and they want nothing to do with it, meanwhile judge is all "no fine?! Really?! What is this??" yeah, but I don't get no restitution DO I?? Where's my bail money back and almost made me miss my flight and shit. Just trying to go do my fuckin laundry. Just reading this thread and the other strange PM ban thread makes you look like a paranoid dude. You might want to take care of your own issues before deciding what's right or wrong with anyone else. |
