I love Elliot, I do. There's a big struggle for me though taking a running back in the first round. I think he's going to be a stud, but I firmly believe throw most running backs behind a good line and they will do fine. We don't have a great line, but we have a decent one with potential to get good. Now, I don't think elliot will be there for us, but what do you guys feel about Henry in the 2nd? Riskier, but better value. His stock might rise even further, but right now projected 2nd round and what a combine he just had. I think this guy could be the real deal. What do you guys think

Elliott
And if he isn't there at #20, then I wouldn't draft a RB until at least Round 3.

Elliott at #20? Yes, please.
Henry in the 2nd? No, thanks.

Great college player, but I think he will be a disappointment in the pros. His size and speed got him a lot of yards in college but, in my opinion, he lacks the quickness and cutting ability to be a great pro back. He will suffer a lot of backfield stuffs and 1 or 2 yard gains in the NFL. Elliott, however, has the skills to be a terrific complete pro back. The only RB that interests me early.

This And I could also see him having the same weight issues in the pros that Eddie Lacy has had. Henry was supposedly 260 a month or so ago before dropping down to 247 for the combine. Ideally he should be in the 235-240 range. I don't think he'll be a flatout bust, but I don't see this huge upside either.

It's Elliot of course, but i'm not in the "no way henry" camp... it's just a matter of Elliot's pedigree and fit. That being said, If we drafted Henry in the 2nd (which he'll be long gone) then i'd be ECSTATIC

I was on the Elliot wagon before the combine but now after, I'm all in on him. Many GMs also seem to like him a lot so now I feel like he'll right to the Colts 2 picks before us & crush my heart unless the Colts sign Doug Martin or Lamar Miller.
I would take Elliot 10 times out of 10 at #20. Wouldn't have to worry about drafting a RB for awhile, allowing us to draft for other positions.
He blocks, runs great, as awesome vision & can catch. That's what you need for this Jets team.

When it comes to Henry, he's good too. So good that I know he won't make it to us in round 2 unless we're trading back from the 1st rd. Don't think he's a good fit here unless we sign a Lamar Miller type back, which I'm not against.
Definitely Elliot over Henry

Not buying the Giants taking Elliott at #10 That team is absolute dogshit in the trenches on both sides of the ball and they need another wideout to complement Beckham in the worst way. Can't see them passing on guys like Decker, Treadwell, Rankins and Conklin in favor of a RB. I honestly think Indy is the only team standing between the Jets and Elliott.

I feel like the Giants will probably go DLine with the 10th pick, but that's the strength of this draft. They could pick Elliot or another offense player at 10 and still get a great DLineman in the 2nd round.
