Noah Spence and Eastern Kentucky are up today. Wonder if he will improve on his numbers from the Combine.

I watched some of his tape......didn't care for him. Don't care for him either. Always thought of him as a 4th/5th rounder. But that 40 time is going to make some team go batshit and draft him in the 2nd most likely.

Via Gil Brandt:
Defensive end Shilique Calhoun -- 6-foot-4 1/2, 250 pounds -- did the three-cone drill in 7.13 seconds and stood on the rest of his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine. Calhoun worked out in space as a linebacker by a San Francisco 49ers assistant coach, and worked out in defensive lineman drills by a New York Jets assistant coach.
Defensive tackle Lawrence Thomas -- 6-3 5/8, 294 -- did the short shuttle in 4.45 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.55 seconds. He also performed 24 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. The Jets' assistant coach also worked out Thomas in the positional drills.
Defensive tackle Joel Heath -- 6-4 7/8, 292 -- had a 9-foot-1 broad jump and then stood on the rest of his combine numbers. Heath also worked out as an offensive lineman.

Also via Tony: Receiver Kenny Lawler had 40 times which were similar to his Combine marks, clocking 4.57/4.64 in the 40. His vertical jump improved to 33.5 inches, broad to 9-8. Lawler met with the Tennessee Titans and New York Jets today. Read more at walterfootball.com/proday.php#1hl3QWDhlkwQFBop.99

He won't wow you, but all of the sudden he'll make a crazy catch with his gigantic mitts.

Know it probably doesn't mean much but jets are looking at quite a few DTs.

Know it probably doesn't mean much but jets are looking at quite a few DTs. As much as it pains me too say this, and it hurts....they should. Just don't do it in the first round. I've always been a proponent of drafting to the strength of the draft rather than reaching for positional needs and this draft screams DT's.
