At least it isn't Jarran Reed.

A lot of people like to criticize Fackrell because he didn't put up big sack numbers, but you have to watch his game tape to understand why:
For whatever reasons, the Utah State coaches were dropping this guy off into coverage on what appears to be well over 50% of the pass plays. He does a pretty good job in coverage and is pretty good against the run as well. However, if you look at the tape at the end of the first half, Utah State finally starts using Fackrell to rush the quarterback and he looks very good doing it. He shows a nice ability to flatten around the arc, has a nice speed to power conversion and even shows an inside spin move.

I've been masterbating and arguing with Josh Norris all morning. A guy like Lynch could make Devin Smith a major player in this offense. (Not that Lynch would start next year). Smith is a wasted 2nd rounder with Fitz at the helm....I still believe they drafted Smith with the thought that Geno was going to win the starting job.

Grab Treadwell with the other pick. Bam. Lynch, Treadwell and Smith will take over this offense. Aright, back to Madden I go.

mangold replacement maybe? Was wondering the same. I also have my eye on Nick Martin in the 2nd. Can't underestimate how much the offense suffered last yr when Mangold was out.
