I get that sentiment, but what are to do? Force the pick?... I have all the usual suspect including Beavers gone by our 2nd pick. Should we reach on another project just to satisfy the quota? Ngakoue is a much prospect than any of the OTs available and Glasgow can take over for Mangold in a year. I'd rather go that route and take a day 1 starter next year then waste a pick Remember, there are still camp cuts. Ryan Clady will soon be cut from the Broncos or maybe Mac trades a 4th/5th for him. There will be others coming available in the next couple of months. Draft BAP and we'll be ok in 2 yrs. Nice call, Booz. Had to check the time stamp on this one.

Denver now at 157 and I believe Jets have gotten the 228 Denver pick. (according to DraftTek www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp

Really, Why is that? I didn't like him much as straight DE, but he looks a lot more comfortable and mobile as a OLB Sorry Paradis, I just noticed this post. I watched 3 games of Ngakoue on draft breakdown. He rarely gets to the edge on his pass rush, his only move is a speed to power that is meh. Most of his sacks that I saw were coverage sacks. He also sucks setting the edge and I've watched him get pushed around by TEs. He might be my least favorite edge prospect from all the "popular" ones. hmm, ok. You win. I'll go back and watch.

No trades this time... but my draft is bullet proof!! Offseason moves yet to come:Sign Fitz - deal gets done Sign ILB Z. Brown Sign P.R. D. Freeney re-sign LB E. Henderson DRAFT 1-19TEN - L. Tunsil OT... CLE - C. Wentz QB.... SD - D. Buckner DE/DT DAL - J. Ramsey S/CB JAX - M. Jack LB BAL - E. Elliot RB SF - R Stanley OT PHI - J. Bosa DE TB - K. Dodd DE NYG - L. Treadwell WR CHI - V. Hargreaves CB NO - A. Robinson DT MIA - E. Apple CB OAK - M. Alexander CB LA - J. Goff QB DET - J. Spriggs OT ATL - D. Lee LB IND - L. Floyd DE BUF - N. Spence OLB NYJ - P. Lynch QB JETS FULL DRAFT:1 - P. Lynch QB (memphis) 2 - Y. Ngakoue OLB (maryland) 3 - G. Glasgow C/OG (michigan) 4 - T. Hemingway TE (SC state) 5 - M. Canady CB (virginia) 7 - R. Lewis WR (bowling green) Thoughts? I didn't like not addressing O-tackle, but I just feel the fit in the 2nd or 3rd round. I think we get a better bang for our buck with Ngakoue & Glasgow over say, Drango and Nicolas Were Conklin, Ifedi or Ogbah candidates at #20? I'm not saying they're definite top 20 prospects but they're both 20....ish! Also, I know you weren't doing trades but if that's how the Draft unfolded I'd be on the phone with Oakland about moving up to 14 for Goff if I was MaccDaddy.

They've got a plan, and a plan for that plan... Translation; I don't know what Macc's plan is or who he plans to go after, but I'm 99% sure he's going to make a move for a QB. Fitz was left hanging in the wind for a couple reasons - but the fact that this team was comfortable to ride it out (Fitz or any other QB) until Mid-April tells me that Fitz or no Fitz, the bigger picture is more important. The franchise is drafting the future QB this year. Conklin and Ogba are decent prospects, but I don't trust Conklin on the blindside and personally don't believe in drafting a RT that early. It's the easiest position to fill. Ogba is more of 4-3 end IMO. They've been looking at Dlineman and Corners heavily, so I'd assume that's probably more like "plan B"... as painful as that is to digest.

DL wouldn't sit well with me, but tbh we're gonna have to invest yet another high pick on a corner no later then 2017 draft so I wouldn't mind it as much depending on who falls there
