This isn't a question about who you like, or who you dislike. It's about deep down in your gut who you think will be the pick at #20 or a viable trade.
I highly doubt we end up picking at 20 but if we do I think we pull the trigger on Noah Spence.

My gut is saying QB, if the one they want is not there then I say OT. Not saying this is what I want just who I think we take.

Think it's going to be a non sexy but necessary pick. Someone like Decker or Conklin. I can also see them taking BPA and if a guy like Ragland drops they'll take him.

I am beginning to think it might be Paxton Lynch, if he is on the board.

The pick will be either Reggie Ragland, Jack Conklin, or Paxton Lynch. I would think one of them would be there at 20 and I don't think I'd have a problem with any of those picks.

How many good, never mind great, LBs do we have on the roster? I could argue we need to draft at least 2 LB's in this Draft. If Ragland were there at 20 I'd take him. He seems like a real gamer. Immediate plug-in for Demario Davis and the eventual replacement for David Harris as the leader inside on the LB corps.

id like to see the jets do what the vikings did when they got teddy. if we really like lynch, roll the dice and try to get him at the very end of the frame after a move down or a move back up. getting him in the first round gives the team more contract flexibility

Just to throw something different out there, I think the Jets will move Mo to swap picks in the first round and then select Goff. Macc personally scouted a couple of Goff's games this year.

Funny, but for whatever reason, I like him the least of all the QBs and I really don't like Lynch anywhere near the 1st round . I think Lynch is a 2-3 year project and we already have 2 of them on the roster .

Our current starting LB corps is what....Mauldin, Harris, Henderson (or maybe Bruce Carter), and Reilly or Catapano?
THAT is not a good starting group. I have hopes for guys like Mauldin becoming an every-down player, Harris is decent but aging and everyone else is a rotational or backup player AT BEST. We typically start 4 LBs. This group needs to be upgraded significantly, both inside and outside. I think Ragland is a strong possibility along with 3-4 OLB projections like Floyd, Spence, etc. It almost has to be a LB in Round 1 the more I think about it.

It would make me really happy to see Catapano become a legit playmaker. So many of those late round draft darlings fade into obscurity. It would be a great story.
