Any feedback on my Steelers Draft? And yes I know it was D heavy but that is where all of their holes are. 1/25 William Jackson III, CB, Houston 2/58 Sua Cravens, S, USC 3/89 Jihad Ward, DT, Illinois 4/123 Tyrone Holmes, OLB, Montana 6/220 Marquez North, WR, Tennessee 7/229 Caleb Benenoch, OT, UCLA 7/246 Vincent Valentine, NG, Nebraska I'd give it a B+... Jackson, Cravens was a strong start. Ward, ehh, good value. Really coming on to Holmes lately. That one's a sexy pick... Can't speak for the last 2. Not familiar enough. I've decided North is not on my wish list though. Just doesn't seem like it's going to come together for him. I watched what little tape there is out there for him, and I couldn't figure who he was supposed to be... deep threat? possession?

I'm not crazy about either of those drafts beerfish ... both have decent first couple picks (or at least "makes sense" picks), the highlight being Henry to MIA, but the mid rounds are all uninspiring prospects IMO. But maybe that's cause I don't know a ton about them. Is there some hidden gems there you recommend? Kolby Listenbee - TCU ran a 4.35 3rd round projection by CBS sports kind of a Devin Smith like pick except in the 4th round. (And obviously less production) Matt Ioannidis - Temple looked really good at the senior bowl. Oline had a tough time blocking him. Nile Lawrence-Stample - FSU Big body (320) run defender NT. Matt Judon - Grand Valley State - Lead the nation in sacks with 20. Worth taking a shot on small school pass rushers imo. Kevin Byard - S - Middle Tennessee - Small school play making saftey with 19 career ints. Daniel Braverman - WR - Western Michigan - A Pats type of draft pick. 108 catches for 1370 yds, 13 tds Eric Rawls - CB - Kentucky State - 6'2"-6'3" runs about 4.5 Has NFL measurables, just a matter of the leap in competition level.

I watched what little tape there is out there for him, and I couldn't figure who he was supposed to be... deep threat? possession? Physically he might be the best WR in the entire draft. It just never came together for him because of injuries and the team he played on. Bottom of the 6th round and I'm drafting him every single time.

We'll see where the chips fall!

That helps colour the picture... I've been on board with Rawls and Braverman, but you've given me something to think about with Byard and Judon I watched the Memphis - Temple game a bunch of times. Temples pass rush was pretty legit.

Wow, was our draft boring compared to the real thing. And it doesn't even start for another 8 days yet.
