Well, you win some - you lose some, lol. Boozer... That one's tougher to swallow bro, not to mention they just spent $$ on Ingram and Spiller.. Will never happen IMO.
NOS taking Elliot is a perfect example of why the "BAP" theory taken wholly is not prudent.

"The Devil is in the Details" If you look at Ingram/Spiller contracts you will see cutting either of them is easy to do with a 3:1 Cap to Dead money saving(Spiller) & over 2:1 for Ingram. Spiller was injured AGAIN and is not what he once was. IMO you shouldn't have to settle for talent at a position of need. CB, LB were all reaches at this point. There were a couple of quality DT's on the board but no where near Elliott talent. |

Believe me, I wrestled with taking a RB in 1st rd. but I kept coming back to "Impact" While Ingram ran the ball for 750 yds(4.5 avg) he only avg. 30 yds/game receiving. With Cooks and Watson and Sneed the only options for Brees, having a RB who can take it to the house will make a a big difference against Panther D If Bosa or Buckner were on the board or WR Treadwell I might have chosen differently. |
