Glad to see you make your pick, beerfish. We were headed in a different direction for you had you missed it. I struggle to try to figure Floyd out. There are times over the last few years where I see a great natural pass rusher who could have a big impact at the next level, but there are other games where he has completely disappeared -- sometimes think it was more due to UGA's scheme than him as prospect. I see him as a boom or bust type pick. I hate the idea of him going to Buffalo--don't like to see my Dawgs in our division. Bad enough that David Andrews wound up in New England last year. Don't want to think about Floyd in Buffalo.

(other than the fact that Ragland would have been worse) -I'm not convinced (at all) that Conklin will be anything more than a RT. He's not going to be be pillar on the left side for 10 years... so you just spend a first on arguably the easiest position in football to fill via FA. RT are one of the few positions you can bank on filling that way. -We're treating the draft as though it's happening today, and as of today we have geno and petty on the roster. You passed on Lynch for Conklin. I'll never be able to stomach that. Those are just my feelings. Had you selected a pass rusher or WR, i would still think it's ridiculous to pass on a QB - but i would understand. Can't get on board with a RT.

Curious. What are the worries/concerns over ILB Ragland? He's not very rangy, but you hope his instincts make up for it. He's more of a thumper. Like a lesser David Harris.

This is a "draft discussion thread"... you asked why i didn't like the pick. I answered. I even put in the trademark "those are just my feelings, don't get your pussy hurt" remark.. Don't ask next time if you don't want to know. I was better than relaxed, but now ya, i'm irritated. Very few teams in the NFL lock up $20-$30 of their annual cap in both OTs... the LT gets paid, and the RT is muscle for hire. It happens often enough, more often than Von Millers and Aaron Rodgers hitting the market.

I was asking Paradis, since it was he who said Ragland would have been an even worse pick. Ragland is not the speediest 40 time out there, but also gets slammed at times and just curious what the issues are with him.
