Heath Miller 2.0 and quickly becoming one of my favorites at #20. Yes, that's right...in the 1st round.
Now, I know a lot of people are thinking "Taking a TE in the 1st round? That shit never works with the Jets and Gailey evidently hates the position!".
True, the Jets have had shit luck at the position...but I'm a firm believer that Gailey didn't feature the TE because we were trotting out dickbags like Cumberland and Davis. And if the Jets were offering a 4 year deal to Gresham, they clearly feel the need to upgrade. They can't continually rely on Enunwa as the #3 option and even though I like Amaro, you can't put all your eggs in that basket.
Watching more and more of Henry...I keep trying to find weak areas and really can't find a damn thing. Yeah, he's not a burner...but who cares?
Great inline blocker, soft hands, fights for the ball in traffic, runs good intermediate routes...
I think his stock is going to steadily go up as we creep closer to the draft. I honestly don't know why the hell I'm not seeing him as a Top 25 player in most mock drafts.

I like Tight Ends, and I really like Henry. Not sure what to make of Gaily-TE stigma

I like the player, but I still think Amaro will be fine in CGs offense. Use the pick on another position.

I will suffer from extreme projectile vomiting if the Jets go TE at 20. He's not Gronk and not worth #20. Want him in the top third of round 2? Then trade down from 20 for more picks or trade up in round 2. He could possibly be there for us them as well although not likely.

I like the player, but I still think Amaro will be fine in CGs offense. Use the pick on another position. I like him too but not for the type of Offense we seem to be playing these days. I think we could find a Tier 2 guy who is an undersized pass-catching TE with some basic block ability in a middle round. We seem to be more of an H-Back type TE anyway....and the Jets kinda like Enunwa in that role. Between Enunwa, Amaro, Davis and Sudfeld I'm not sure the Jets will add another TE/H-Back type high in this Draft. I also think Henry stands out slightly because there is no single dominant TE in this class. By most accounts there isn't a TE with a 1st round grade in this draft.

Was watching Allen and Henry again the other night (great game vs Miss St) and this other TE Sprinkle continues to pop. Think next year he could end up in discussion for top 3 TE in 2017 draft. Makes all kinds of big time plays.
