He is like my favorite player in the draft. Will be a dominating beast on the DL of any team, particluarly 3-4 teams. An absolute beast. If he is the unequivocal BPA at #20 (just like Williams was at #6 last year), would Mac do the same thing again? This draft is so damned deep in DL that it is astonishing the value teams can get lower in the 1st and 2nd. I've never seen anything like it w/respect to DL. Just the Jets luck... trying to shop Mo when the low hanging DL fruit in this draft is the most promising in many years. Trading Mo for a 2nd round pick and drafting Robinson at #20 (a player who I think will be way better than Mo, ultimately) pretty much blows our 1st round. ugh.

The DLine depth is certainly a good news bad news thing for the Jets.
The bad news as you have already stated is that we may very well be looking at not just one but two or three dline as being BPA at 20. Also bad news in that it will hurt any Mo Wilk trades.
The good news is that if other teams actually do go BPA before us and take Dline players who can help us more should fall to 20.

Love Robinson too....he would be a great cog in Bowles defense because he can play pretty much anywhere on the D-Line.
That being said, I would almost certainly have a conniption if we drafted another D-Lineman in the first round....but I would not put it past Daddy Mac if he was at the top of the Jets board at #20, especially since Sheldon is a puff, puff, pass away from a year long suspension.

If we haven't moved Mo and there's not much the Jets like at #20 then maybe they should try to move back in the 1st and pick up a 4th rounder or something. However, I do think there will be a player other than DLine worthy of a pick at #20. Even if it's a Top 25 player I'd be okay taking him at 20 if we can't move back. There are a few OTs, a few OLB/Edge guys, an ILB and a couple others who may be worthy.
Outside of our biggest needs (OT and OLB in my opinion) I'd also put NT and C on the list not too far behind. But I'd think the 2nd or 3rd round is where we'd want to get a big-bodied NT or a future Mangold replacement like Ryan Kelly or Nick Martin. #20 is a bit too early for run-clogging NT (I think Robinson is great but I'm talking move of a pure clogger than another athletic 3-4 lineman) or either of those Centers in my opinion.
