Yes, of the same Rivers family. Younger brother of Philip is hoping to get selected on Day 3 of the NFL Draft. Anyone think he's worth a longshot? Apparently had a great workout on Pro Day. Has been working with George Whitfield. Funny how Stephen and Philip seem to have the same arm angle and release point.

Don't care about spending a draft pick on a QB unless it's for one of the Top 3.
These late round QB's are a total waste 99.9% of the time.
He's not going to bump Geno, Petty, or Fitz/Hoyer off the roster and the Jets aren't carrying 4 QB's. So then you're talking about a practice squad body who could get plucked at anytime. And even if he doesn't get picked up, there's only like a 2% chance he amounts to anything more than a career backup anyway.

you know the talking heads are always talking about pedigree. just kidding. day three is rounds 4-7 or whatever. not necessarily throw away picks but still worth using on a qb. rivers has been an awful good qb over the years.

I would assume an UDFA long shot.
