Hmmmmm...first pick that I have been underwhelmed with. Decent prospect, but seems more like a 5th-6th rounder to me. Shocked we passed on the OL there. Maybe since we don't have a 5 or 6...this is Mac grabbing a guy he wanted later. But if that's the case, why not trade down? Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing. Seems like a bit of a forced pick, due to the lack of the 5 and 6.

Good for Ervin and the Texans.
Ervin Miller Fuller
Pales in the comparison to the legendary trio of Lee Jenkins and burris

Can't say I'm familiar, but I don't mind a corner here, just glad we didn't take one within the first two rounds.

I wonder if this shows that our CS has confidence in some of the young OLs brought in the last few years: Qvale, Harrison, Dozier, Johnson. I just don't get it, we pretty much ignored the OL so far this offseason, other than Clady which became necessary with Brick's retirement. I think the talk for some time now has been the coaching staff really loves Qvale. Hopefully he can challenge Breno in TC.

The other thing to consider is that it seems to be much much easier to pick up a solid experienced Olineman in free agency then just about any other position.
Maybe this FO is of the mindset that they'll let other teams develop the Olineman then just pick them up when they shake free.

Sounds like Mcdougle pick to me, damn corner when there was good value there.
Happens every year on day 3, fans pounding the table for players that have dropped for them to take a scrub who won't be on the team in two years like Saunders and George etc
Should've took Billings. Fuckin annoys me day 3.

Burris better be good because look who just went after him. Ervin, Billings, Beavers, and Hawkins.

And why the fuck can't this team trade down? No problem for the Browns and Ravens.
That pick has annoyed me.

Just get one of the good punters Kaser or Hackett in the 7th round and I will be happy.

I wanted a corner with the first pick today got my wish. Kid is physical plays good man to man only gave up a 34.1 completion % when targeted last year now he has the best corner of this generation as a mentor love the move. And this entire draft there hasn't been pick I haven't loved.

Maybe this FO is of the mindset that they'll let other teams develop the Olineman then just pick them up when they shake free. Parcells has said talking to coaches around the NFL that the biggest problem with the new CBA is the restriction on hitting in practice and how that is making it difficult to develop OL.

With all this Mo shit goin on Billings would've been great value there.
Has Booker gone yet?
