This...in general....pisses me off. Not because I'm so offended at the crime, but I'm pissed off at the fact that I wasn't born 20 years later. Just look at woman aged 21-30 today and compare them to woman aged 21-30 from twenty years ago. When I was in college, turtle neck sweaters were the rage and unless the girls were athletes....none of them went to the gym. Now, it's common for chicks to start working out when they're in high school regardless of whether or not they're athletes. Then end result is an overabundance of smoking hot chicks with tight asses and abs primed and ready to go. Fucking pisses me off. We got screwed. Not to mention sexting and Tinder. They friggin have an app for fucking. No more having to walk up to a chick and actually strike a convo, or calling their home "Hello sir, this is Raoul Duke, may I please speak with your daughter". Send a dick pic, and voila it's in the bag.

Neighbor is a grade schoo teacher.
Never tie the kids shoelaces. Especially the wet shoe laces.

It also makes find friends with benefits much easier. Serious dating though is a little harder though. Everyone is talking to 3-5+ at once.

My late wife's best friend is a teacher, awesome job, great hours, great benefits, decent second income and she experiences something new and exciting every day. Summers off. We go to dinner and she always has 2-3 stories of stupid things kids do. She actually loves going to work. Wtf is wrong with you people--not all of them bang young boys. _ My wife teaches elementary... regular and special ed. The pay is decent, not great, but shes not a long tenured teacher at this point. Summers off (but she tutors and does camps over the summer), benefits are decent too. And the stories are second to none. Both about the kids and the other teachers. Like anything where there's job security, you have long time teachers just mailing it in, but most of the teachers I know really do give a damn. To counter Hashmans point, in elementary, there's no indoctrination going on, and the teachers I know are as anti common core as anyone else. Ive gone in to read to her classes, and the kids are awesome. As to the kid touching.... if youre pre-disposed to that, my opinion is that you're going to find avenues to be around kids... whether its going into teaching, or the priesthood, or being a scout leader, etc. You're not meeting many targets for that in corporate life, so yeah, Im not surprised with all these stories.

Still don't know how anyone would actively seek out that job... pay is a joke, must teach lies and propaganda etc. My daughter has 4 years in, is at about $50,000 with top shelf healthcare and retirement. She teaches propaganda like 1+1 =2. Oh and next year they pay off her student loans. And summers off to boot. She finds it tremendously rewarding helping kids despite the parents and the administration. Every teacher opening has 1,000s of applicants actively seek out that job. Just out of curiousity, what do you do and how much do you make? Thats a great deal... we're still paying off my wifes masters loans and all the continuing ed certs shes needed... K-1, 2-6, regular ed, special ed, reading. You ain't lying about the competition for jobs... it took a number of years of subbing for my wife to land her full time job... in the northeast, the job market is flooded with teachers. And yes, the parents suck. Many of the issues she deals with are due to shitty parents. And inept administration. But she wouldn't trade it for the world. She goes in early, stays late, we go watch her kids pee wee football games in the fall, and school carnivals and she volunteers for just about every activity she can.

Its not a field you enter because of money thats for sure. And you really have to love it to put up with the BS that comes with it. The amount of data that they ask you to provide on kids now is a joke.

I know some people under 30 making $45k to $50K per year with very little in student loans (4 year degree from state schools) and enjoying their summers off..

Pa. collects a ton of dough from people with second homes there who dont use the schools. Some of the School districts are flush with $$.

Maybe that applies in the poconos, but not the rest of the state.
