If this holds up I'm happy for you guys. You might have a tough go in the beginning but long term I think you will be much better off. Thing is, we never joined the single currency, we have the fifth largest economy, we can stand on out own two feet and succeed like we did before joining the union. If it happens this is a victory for democracy. |

Forty years ago all your trade agreements were in place. You are gonna have to renegotiate deals with everyone all over again. |

I hear you man, and trust me I am fully aware of the exit implications, however they sell more to us then we do them, do you think Audi are goin to stop selling cars to one of it's biggest markets because of a load of pissed of euro bureaucrats? It's goin to be a beautiful thing negotiating trade agreements outside of the single market such as with yourselves. |

So if Scotland votes for Independence would they have to apply to join the EU? It would be funny as fuck if they did and the EU told them to pound sand. If that's the case Scotland might stay in the UK.
