I know Trump knows Gingrich and Christie well and trusts them both very much. They have both exhibited the kind of loyalty that Trump values more than anything (which he should -- I'm just not used to seeing politicians who value loyalty). Pence must have really made an impression on Trump to get the job even though Trump did not know him very well before the last few weeks. If Trump starts naming proposed cabinet members look for Christie as AG (Hillalie better hope for an Obama pardon) and Gingrich as Chief of Staff. If Trump sticks to the script, doesn't get baited into discussing his penis size, and buries crooked hillary with constant rehashings of her never-ending run-ins with the inability to tell the truth, I really do think he will win. Plus, I bet there will be a new Speaker of the House....  |

Christie is just too unlikable to most people imho to be VP, and Gingrich said it best when he described Trump and himself as two "pirates" in that they both take on the establishment. Pretty sure the country is not ready for two guys like that on the same ticket

Christie is just too unlikable to most people imho to be VP, and Gingrich said it best when he described Trump and himself as two "pirates" in that they both take on the establishment. Pretty sure the country is not ready for two guys like that on the same ticket I just pray that Trump is willing to take council from Gingrich and Pence as regards his big mouth and having no filter. |

The safe pick although the left will dust off the gay/tranny guns on him. Interesting bc Pence has come out a number of times to disavow Trump statements. I think he is trying to unify the party and, more importantly, the donors.
He is in a decent position considering he is getting outspent 40:1 in battleground states. 40 to 1e. Some recent polls have him leading in Pennsylvania, Florida, Iowa and tied in Ohio. If he ran the table in those states he would win the election.
