I'm pretty sure the average person doesn't even know that ever happened. But surely it was a failed policy. We locked up our own citizens. You could say it was a successful policy, as there were no 5th column attacks in the US. The number of Muslims in the US is roughly equal to the prison population. The logistics alone make this impossible. 360,000 per state. Where will you put them? You ready to pay? Good luck. |

Or be thrown into camps like the Japs were. We interned about 100,000 Japanese, which is now considered an national disgrace. There are 1.8 million Muslims in the US. This whole situation is just sad and I honestly have no idea how to fix it. The Muslim world is going to have to come to the conclusion that a moderate Islam is the way to go. I just don't know how you do that.

We are asking for trouble down the line when one or 1,000 of these people do not make it in our society, need someone to blame and the weak minded get brainwashed into believing the ISIS BS and decides to kill infidels. Our policy of actively brining in 10s of thousands more of these people is beyond stupid. The ones here - if they aren't citizens and are here illigally then get the F out. If they are citizens and their sympathies lie w/ ISIS or they believe in Sharia Law and the Koran over being a US citizen then they can be sent to whatever hell-hole their forefather came from and practice their own fucked up version of their religion while living out their miserable lives. Either they want to assimilate and become Americans or they can take their burka wearing asses to the middle least. |

I don't think internment will work.. Just stop being so liberal with immigration... Control the borders.. As a sovereign nation we have every right to decide and change our attitudes any time we want... And I have no problem with the Japanese or for that matter the heavy hand on the Germans especially on the east coast during WWII...it not only seemed prudent but was based on common sense... despite revision...

Ironically we have the same problem too many factions and groups in this country not enough people on the same page it's almost impossible to get 535 people on the same page even though you don't need them all to pass legislation. We are so together yet so divided.
