I didn't see Trumps speech last night. Only read a little about it. I read he promised tax relief for middle class, which would be about a 7% tax cut for middle fifth and a 217% tax cut for the top 1%.
As such, what did trump say his plan was to reduce the deficit?

Comical when some compare Trump to Reagan, Trump should stick to buildings where everyone must do as he says.

I've seen the details of his plan reported as 17.5% cuts on the top 1%. I don't know where you are getting 217% from. Maybe that is taking into account his plans to cut estate taxes. I'm bad at "Washington Math" and it seems like everyone is always proposing cuts but somehow we end up paying more. I have also heard him say in debates and in speeches that the rich and the "hedge fund guys" are going to have to pay more. So who knows. In general I think his plan to reduce the deficit is going to be to get people working and broadening the tax base. More people paying = more revenue. Also he said he will demand the heads of every agency to issue a report on wasteful spending ($100 hammers) that is going to be cut. Also said he wants to increase the production of our oil, natural gas and coal industries. Refining our corporate tax code to make it more attractive for companies to bring their money back into America for investment. Basically the same shit every candidate talks about. |

Putin is ex-KGB and notorious for putting foreign leaders in uncomfortable situations and trying to humiliate them. Before a meeting with Merckle he heard she was scared of dogs, so he had Dobermans put in his office during their meeting. |
