Is this really a thing? Wouldn't put it past them but I haven't been paying attention to this sort of thing. well yes, it is. it's on top of sugar loaf. very prominent. |

He went to buy drugs or a hooker and made up the story. Skipped town and left his boys holding the bag I agree it was probably something embarrassing and they made up a cover story, thinking it wouldnt get this much exposure lochte is a great swimmer but he doesn't have much between his ears. it does sound like he's making it all up and it's too bad the other guys are getting the third degree. oh well, the olypics have been going downhill since 68. most of the american team are a bunch of very highly skilled athletes who have been coddled to the max. it used to be these guys were amateurs. |

Tune in tonight at 7:58 so you don't miss it. Assuming you're in ET is Astoria ET?...and what does he have to do with it? Lots of outdoor competitions today for the end of the games. Triathlon, canoeing, etc. It ha been cloudy all day and Big Jesus has been shrouded in clouds all day. I bet NBC is responsible |

Out long national nightmare. Is over No kidding! I can hardly wait till these Olympics are finally over and I don't have to look at Big Jesus one more time. So sick of NBC constantly showing it everywhere! At the beginning of each broadcast, into every commercial break where the city skyline morphs into the RIO logo, outdoor contests with the mountain in the background, interviews in the studio with the beach and statue in the "window", random segments about the city like today's about the favelas that prominently feature it or the actual story is about it - Enough and good riddance! |
