Well let's not automatically assume something from an agent is 100% true but if it is, the only way I see this released is if Rex knows he's out and the other coach declined to meet with the Jets. There is no way the agent burns both Rex and the other coach the Jets are supposedly interested in by making it public if either guy could be next year's coach.

I can just imagine the "exit interview"...
Rex : "Fuck you."
Woody : "No. Fuck you."
Rex : "No. Fuck YOU."
Woody : "No. FUCK....YOU!"

Rex deserves a fair shot. I think we should give him his third general manager and a chance at breaking his four season losing streak. It's only fair to rex.

Grow up kiddies. Rex knows he is getting canned. Agents often represeent multiple parties that may or may not be competing for the same spot. The agent is supposed to be a professional and not divulge such information.

Maybe you should spend your own time "growing up"...IN THE HAMPURGATORY! *Dum, Dum, Duuuuuuuuuuuuummm...* Oh shit. I forgot. I'm not a mod. Oh well. How about 'dem Jets?

Woody simply just does not have a clue. This is on the agent (or the reporter making up the story) not on Woody and the Jets. Wouldn't it be worse for the Jets to fire Rex before finding out if the coaches that they think might be better than Rex are even interested?

Just for what it's worth... Rex's Agent = Jimmy Sexton who also happens to represent Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, and Gus Malzahn.
Wonder if the call was to gauge Malzahn's interest?
