I hate Colin kapernick (aka squidward, the ugliest QB in the history of the NFL) more today than ever. I hope fans boo and protest his sorry dumb fucking ass. He should leave the league. The NFL tries to wrap themselves in the American flag every minute so I would expect them to do something about this. Probably not tho - friggin' hypocrites.

Part of living in a country with free speech is everyone gets to do it. He's a moron, but he has every right to do it. Stupid people have freedom too.
Like the KKK parades, the best thing to do is ignore it.

Cut his traitor ass. Absolutely. Speech has ramifications. (As he's finding out today) But doubt the team would cut him. (until the off season, where they can say its for football reasons) The NFL is in a tight spot PR-wise. I'm sure there are a large number of players who aren't vocal now, but wouldn't be thrilled with his losing his job over this. No way do they want to open up this can of worms. |

And I do wonder if Jeff Fisher's speech to his team about how to properly do the National Anthem prompted this. If you look at his Twitter feed it doesn't resemble one of a typical NFL player. He seems to have taken up with the activists which is his right but since he is a QB you wonder how much is taking away from his focus on football and if his heart is even in the game right now.
