I'm out of the Survivor and never submitted my picks this week although I have a good reason. Had a massive housefire thursday night and now my house is uninhabitable and both of my cars burned and are total losses. The honda in the garage is just a shell. Everyone got out safe but I'm looking at about 8 months until they can fix everything. I won't be around much for the next few weeks and am going too miss a ton of Jets games. I guess it could be worse. jesus, glad to hear everyone's OK. what kind of car? Well, don't think you're going to miss much on sundays, too bad about your saturdays though. |

Thanks guys and the biggest thing is we all got out OK including the cat and dog. I only had some minor smoke inhalation with some burnt eyelashes and hair but it will grow back. I lost a honda accord and my nissan titan that was parked in the driveway but that's the least of my worries. Even though only about a quarter of the house burned I'm guessing a total gut because of all the smoke and water damage. That smoke damage is some nasty fucking stuff.....it does not come out.

Well, don't think you're going to miss much on sundays, too bad about your saturdays though. We're in an extended stay motel now but State Farm is looking for a rental house. I was completely insured so monetary losses should be negligible. |

I was able too get my picks in but I missed the deadline for the first two games. The survivor pool didn't allow me to make my pick, so I'm out of that one.

4-5 so far in the early games. I suck. But not as bad as Fitz. Maybe next week, he should make my picks and I should start for the Jets.

The Saints, Rams, and Raiders fucked me over in the final minute. This always happens. I knew I should have picked the Raiders because the Ravens are frauds, but they were at home. I can still go 10-5 if the Steelers, Vikings, and Broncos (delayed) win.
