--OJ Howard, Alabama... his all around game could resemble Gonzalez's. --Evan Ingram, Ole Miss... best "joker" TE since Hernandez? --Jeremy Sprinkle, Arkansas... part dinosaur, part man. --Bucky Hodges, VT... plays a lot like Jimmy Graham IMO --Jake Butt... Witten carbon copy
I dunno about you guys, but my wish list is already full. I'm dreaming of a mythical draft; Williams/Cook/Sprinkle

I love Cook & Williams, but unless we pickup a second first round pick, I don't know how we are going to make it happen.

Love all those guys. Ingram, Sprinkle (He might be better than Hunter Henry), and Hodges are my favorites for the Jets. OJ Howard has all the tools and Jake Butt is nice, but we don't really use our TEs. Yes they suck which is part of it, but as I've said before I think Ingram would excel in Enunwa's roll or he could take over for Decker in the slot. Either way he'd give our offense even more flexibility.

And I feel same way about Sprinkle, and he's still growing into his position. He'll be lethal I think after a year or two in the NFL. I wouldn't close the book on TEs in our system so quickly. Chan moved mountains with Gonzalez and made Chandler a household name. I think it's more about whether or not he has a TE that can actually do everything, vs just asking your inline guy to lumber around in the flat.

Jets will never draft Engram because he's just a big receiver. If we can deduce anything by their roster moves, it's that they want someone who can line up next to the Tackle and block. We just cut our one dimensional second round pick.

We just cut our one dimensional second round pick. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jets make another strong push for Gresham next offseason. Supposedly they offered him a longterm deal but he chose to remain in Arizona on a 1 year "prove it" deal. Anyway, he's a solid inline blocker and reliable short/intermediate option.

I was tweeting back and forth with an area scout who thinks Hodges will go 2nd round, maybe even sneak into round 1...
That's 4 Tight Ends who've been thrown around in the 1st... put that in your pipe and smoke it!
(also, you guys should jump on twitter and join me. I've gotten some good dialogue over the last year with all sorts of interesting people)

Witten carbon copy I dunno about you guys, but my wish list is already full. I'm dreaming of a mythical draft; Williams/Cook/Sprinkle '10 and '13 were pretty darn good too...but none of them had a Howard type of prospect. Saying best ever? Tough, very tough to call. That said, if we had a chance at landing your draft I'd need a diaper for the penis because it would flowing with jizz for the following weeks to cum.

After watching more, i'd add Everett and Njoku to that list. When you factor in those names - it certainly has best TE class potential.
