You and me both. Hell, I brought his name into the discussion before anyone. Now he's a perennial 1,000 yard receiver, I believe only 23 years old and we have Calvin Pryor. FML Yes you did. I think I had him at #7 and you made me go back and really watch him. He jumped up to #3 after Watkins and Evans. Then it was Cooks, Adams, and Landry. I really missed on Beckham. I knew he was good, but never expected what he was doing. LSU's offense is really unflattering to WRs that's why I'd take a chance on Dupre and Dural. Especially Dupre. Those were some great debates back then and FTR I had Evans as my #1 from day one. I took some great wrath for hating on Marquise Lee but it's all in good fun. I also loved Jarvis Landry even after he blew the combine and his proday. IIRC the only posters that still had faith in him was Tinstar and myself. FML

Fuck!!! Hopefully not serious for Baker, couldn't put any weight on the right leg. He had me worried, but he looked fine sitting on the bench. Last week I was trying to find a good pic of Baker and Jones to make my avatar, but there wasn't any. Guess I'll settle for just Jones.

Watkins was my guy. I also grew sour on Lee, but I defended Landry with you. He had strained his calf before running at the combine, and that hurt him a lot.

We could of had Landry instead of Amaro and since we went Defense yet again he was a logical pick. Only the Jets.

Plus Gabe Jackson OG who I was screaming for in the 3rd round. As much as I love Decker and Marshall it would be nice to have some young cheap play makers. Rex just had to have his big hitting safety that can't cover.

I had Watkins slightly ahead of Evans.
To me he appeared to be a violent player. If he had stayed healthy who knows. But holy crap Evans is good.
Hated Lee.
Loved Landry.
But I was just so broken up about beating the Titans, beating anyone and losing out on Marcus. After passing on both Teddy and Carr the year before.
Fuck me.

When was the last time Colorado was relevant in football? The Kordell Stewart days?

For QBs it was Winston or bust for me. I liked Carr 2nd best, but I never got excited about him because I knew he was an early 2nd round QB. We had just taken Geno so the only QBs we would have taken were Winston or Mariota.

If we took the top 5-8 posters in this forum and we submitted anonymous picks that would result in the actual draft picks, we would be a dynasty in the making.

Corey Davis is having another big game. If we move on from Brandon I would love him or Mike Williams. However, both are mid to late 1st round picks so we won't be able to grab them in the 2nd.

I still can't believe Idzik passed on Teddy and Carr because he had Geno. What a fuck up. I get the MM v Winston debate but I LOVED Mariota. He is playing some exceptional football right now. _

I think a lot of scouts, gms, and coaches over think things. They out smart themselves and take risky picks thinking they can "coach up" that player. It just makes them look like idiots in the end. Fuck if we could interview players and could see the back ground checks our hit percentage would be even better.

How is it that we have needs just about everywhere, but it still seems like the talent in this draft does not align that well with our needs especially if we pick where we are now at 5.
