I didn't mind missing out on Mariota. For QBs it was Winston or bust for me. I liked Carr 2nd best, but I never got excited about him because I knew he was an early 2nd round QB. We had just taken Geno so the only QBs we would have taken were Winston or Mariota. Different years. Teddy Carr and Marcus were my 3 favorite QBs in the last 5 years. I still can't believe Idzik passed on Teddy and Carr because he had Geno. What a fuck up. I get the MM v Winston debate but I LOVED Mariota. He is playing some exceptional football right now. _ My problem with Mariota was he never had to make more than 2 reads in college, and he had a big fumbling problem which is hurting him right now. He's also kind of fragile so I was worried about him running in the NFL. He's been better than I expected though.

I had Watkins slightly ahead of Evans. To me he appeared to be a violent player. If he had stayed healthy who knows. But holy crap Evans is good. Hated Lee. Loved Landry. But I was just so broken up about beating the Titans, beating anyone and losing out on Marcus. After passing on both Teddy and Carr the year before. Fuck me. _ I don't remember any of this and this was when JI was relevant. Me? I left JI well before the 2014 draft. My man love for Teddy Carr and Marcus was legendary on TGG. And I loved Watkins. I saw him live destroy my Orangemen. _

And that he'd run less and get bigger/stronger because he still had some physical maturing to do and would not be a big health risk. I was worried about Winston's off the field stuff although he was phenomenally talented. _

How is it that we have needs just about everywhere, but it still seems like the talent in this draft does not align that well with our needs especially if we pick where we are now at 5. Taking lots of CBs is probably our best bet in this draft. It's just as deep as the RB class. Plus I can see our GM and coaching staff ignoring the RB position since Forte will be here for at least one more year. However, that would be a mistake in my opinion. It just sucks that we have so many needs and so few picks. If we could get another 2nd and 3rd it would be huge for our future. However, our only trade chip is Richardson and I doubt gets more than a 3rd and a 5th. If anything he might only get a 4th. Then we might as well hold on to him and hope we get a 3rd when he walks.

The Washington coach just accidentally said "we have sex" in his interview.

Corey Davis is having another big game. If we move on from Brandon I would love him or Mike Williams. However, both are mid to late 1st round picks so we won't be able to grab them in the 2nd. Corey Davis is the shit.

We could of had Landry instead of Amaro and since we went Defense yet again he was a logical pick. Only the Jets. We could have had Cooks/Adams or Cooks/Landry. Plus Gabe Jackson OG who I was screaming for in the 3rd round. As much as I love Decker and Marshall it would be nice to have some young cheap play makers. Rex just had to have his big hitting safety that can't cover. Evans and Watkins were a "pick your poison" duo. I was always an Evans guys. Loved Lee then, still love Lee now. Glad to see him not injured for the first time in 3 years, and making plays Couldn't get behind Jordan Matthews though. Or Cooks.... still feel that way too.

I figured he'd be a 700-800 yard WR, and maybe hit 1,000 yards a few times. The other guys had more upside to me. I started out high on Lee at the beginning of the season, but soured on him as the season went on and didn't want anything to do with him in the 1st/2nd round. I'm glad he's finally healthy though. He's a great kid and a hard worker. Very easy to root for.

Still can't believe how fucked up Johnny Manziel's life is. I mean I think we all knew he was a wild man but holy shit. Imagine if the Jets had drafted him lol. _

I couldn't believe he went in the 1st round.

LOL Just admit you were wrong although I'm with you on Matthews. Haha Paradis and one other person were adamant about Lee and HATED Cooks. Those were some good battles and really brought the draft forum to life. Good times. I have to give Paradis credit though. He LOVED David Johnson when both of us thought he ran too upright like a WR.

I get that these kids want to win the money, but throw the football like a man. Don't shovel pass it like a girl.
