LOL Just admit you were wrong although I'm with you on Matthews. Haha Paradis and one other person were adamant about Lee and HATED Cooks. Those were some good battles and really brought the draft forum to life. Good times. I have to give Paradis credit though. He LOVED David Johnson when both of us thought he ran too upright like a WR. I appreciate the tip-of-the-hat from you fellas, but I'm only as good as my teammates - my JI comrades. You boys hold the bar pretty high with your college football acumen. I'm just trying to keep pace.

LOL Just admit you were wrong although I'm with you on Matthews. Are we talking Cooks? Did I hate him that much? I just thought he was more of a slot/role player. Not quite Tavon Austin caliber (there's a conversation we don't need to revisit), but i didn't think he was that good as a downfield passer... that part I was wrong about. He's been more far versatile than expected. You know who's surprised me the most out of that class? Allen Robinson. I didn't think he was the natural (and athletic) WR that he obviously was. Dynamic downfield, great catching radius, and owns the space around him. He turned out to be way more D. Hopkins, than the b-grade Hines Ward I pegged him for. Him and Bryant, whom i felt was just another gangster with speed. Jury's still out there on the gangster part. I wiffed on Robinson and Bryant. Less Bryant, because I was ok with where he was drafted, but didn't want him in the 2nd round. Robinson looked like a slower more polished Stephen Hill to me. Even though he was athletic he ran like Bambi. I didn't think he'd be able to run all the routes and separate at the next level. He proved me wrong, but of course I drafted him to my friends fantasy team this year and he's sucked.

Blake is going to be the new Vinny Testaverde. He's going to put up numbers, but kind of suck. Then in 3-5 years we're going to sign him and he's going to pass for a ton of yards and lead us to the playoffs. I'm calling it now. I've already told my friends this.

I just thought he was more of a slot/role player. That's where you got it wrong, I was always saying he was an outside guy from the start regardless of his height, just watch the tape. I wasn't a big Robinson fan, but I do remember posters liking him. This is the year to argue the Running Backs, hopefully it gets heated in a few months.

I need to do my homework on Fournette, I'll admit I know nothing about him. I'm not feeling Gaskin. Fournette is an elite talent as a runner. I saw him live up at the Dome last year and without me even realizing it he rushed for 250 and had a 70 yarder called back. AP like. He seems to get banged up though. I don't know but I just think Cook might be more of a game breaking player. He's a better pass catcher and I think he's more elusive. I don't think you could go wrong with either one but I don't think we can pass up either if they are still on the board when we draft. And I hate the thought of taking a RN in the first round but these guys could be franchise RBs. Not sure who I'd take. I'll let the FO make that choice. _ I don't think it's even question, if i was calling the shots -- It's Cook 100% Fournette's a fucking Clydesdale - no argument. He has the ability to totally dominate and dictate a game... but he's not going to dictate every game. Like AP, he can fall out of the gameplan or gameflow. He's not nearly as dynamic as Cook. You could literally staple Cook into ANY offense in the NFL, and he'd be amazing. He'll never come out, down or distance be damned. Can't say the same about Fournette, and thats not even addressing the injury label that's coming down the chimney this holiday season.

Maybe we could add Stokes to that list but I have my doubts about that guy.

With no regards to Founette I like Cook much more than Elliot coming out. If he can toe the straight line and put the work in the sky is the limit. I like his size, vision, hands, and explosiveness, although I'm worried about his commitment once he gets that contract .

FTR Browning sucks donkey dick. He's a terrible NFL prospect that so many know it alls will be touting next year based solely upon his stats and size.

Cook is better but I'm worried about the commitment. Same worries I had about Elliot when he was on the red carpet with a half shirt with the flair that he already made it.

I feel like you can build an offense around Elliot (see Cowboys), but Cook will fit in any offense, period. Because of injuries, systems, changing staff -- I value the latter. Plus Cook's a finisher.

I like that Clydesdale comparison. Yeah it's gotta be Cook. He can just do it all. And I agree the injury label is starting to attach. I'd hate to take a guy top 5 that can't stay on the field. Plus he's not going to be able to run over NFLers like some of the lesser talent he sees in college. _
