Put you, me, RobR, Lith, Maury, and Sec in charge and the Jets would have a million more play makers on the team. Fucking sad, but true. Maybe we could add Stokes to that list but I have my doubts about that guy. Wtf. _

Still can't believe how fucked up Johnny Manziel's life is. I mean I think we all knew he was a wild man but holy shit. Imagine if the Jets had drafted him lol. Most of the regular forum posters hated him coming out.....It's why I liked the forum. Same for this place now. This is the best Jets forum on the net, I still lurk on some of the others. I wish we could pull some of the old guys from the JI days like Pauline and Rutgers.

With no regards to Founette I like Cook much more than Elliot coming out. If he can toe the straight line and put the work in the sky is the limit. I like his size, vision, hands, and explosiveness, although I'm worried about his commitment once he gets that contract . Cook vs Elliot is a fantastic argument. I prefer Cook. Elliot is a very good all around back, but he lacks a little bit of an explosive element to his game and, in my opinion only, I think an elite RB needs to have that explosive aspect to his game. Cook has been a game changer since his freshman season at FSU.

Honestly, we have so many needs, I'd prefer to trade back into the low teens and pick up an extra second or third rounder.

And a GM who is willing to pull the trigger during the pressure of draft day while the clock is ticking. You never know about the former and I am not sure about the latter.

I appreciate the tip-of-the-hat from you fellas, but I'm only as good as my teammates - you fellas. You hold the bar high with your college football acumen. I'm just trying to keep pace. Put you, me, RobR, Lith, Maury, and Sec in charge and the Jets would have a million more play makers on the team. Thanks -- and I agree, although I am not in the same class with you guys a breaking down film on prospects. This list of posters is a big reason why I like this board better than the others with more membership, and those that are more active (and filled with more idiocy). We have plenty of idiots here at the Hampur, but they bring a fun kind of lunacy, not straight out stupidity you see on other boards.

But you don't want to bring along some of the riff raff like SAR or Junc. _

Lol, yeah, I saw that thread. Jesus christ, we are so starved for a QB that we are acting like a guy who hasn't gotten laid in years and thinks Rumer Willis is hot.

That would be fantastic. I am not a fan of Kizer at all. Watson may turn out to be a player but I don't think I can pass on Cook or Fournette for him. He doesn't leap out as a can't miss. _

Saw the JT Barrett thread over there. At least the guy who put Barrett out there seemed to get roasted pretty good. During baseball season I am over there for the Mets thread -- just couldn't get any Mets discussion going over here during this past season. And at least we don't have any trademarked posters who like to post in bold green font over here.

I am seeing mocks right now with like 4 QBs in the top 10. Kizer, Watson, Trubisky, Kaaya. I think I even saw one with Mason Rudolph in the top 10 this week. I just don't see it, but you never know.
