I like Zay Jones, he is a nice fit in a west coast offense. He reminds me of Cotchery. But we don't have a 4th rounder

Jets worked out Dawuane Smoot and Carroll Phillips
Seems like the Jets are interested in a ton of OLB's slated to go in that Round 2-3 range.

What do you guys think about Zay jones as a possible 2nd round pick? Went to Eastern Carolina. 399 career receptions, with 158 coming in his senior year. 6 foot 2, doesn't seem to have blazing speed but has great hands and Can get the tough yards after the catch. He is a slightly taller version of Justin Hardy who came out of East Carolina a few years ago. That system is very WR friendly, produces a lot of gaudy stats for their #1 WR.

Could be a name to watch for in Day 3 -- returned kicks and punts at Oregon State, 4 return TDs in college.

*yawn* ^^
Pretty routine Jets WR right there.
"Hey, I know... let's fill the Marshall void with, Bolden!"
"Isn't he retired, Mike?"
"Not that one, Victor... You know, Oregon state... Cmon guys?"

Mid-late round receiver I've loved for months is Ryan Switzer.
Shifty and tough slot guy who doubles as a really good punt returner.
Of course he's guaranteed to be a Patriot

The only Marshall void that a guy like Bolden would fill is Jalin. I was not suggesting him as an alternative to Brandon, but as a late day 3 pick/udfa to potentially replace a guy who has fumbling issues who is also suspended for 4 games.

I know it's a homer pick and we don't NEED WRs but I love my Amba Etta-Tawo in the 7th.

Apparently no NFL head coaches showed up for Trubisky's pro-day.

Makes sense. Why show up at a Pro day and sit there watching the same thing and have little side discussions on his strengths and weaknesses?
Do it yourself, make the decision yourself and don't let anyone else in on your thinking.

So looks like Kiper has OJ Howard going to the Jets at 6 in latest mock. More and more buzz that Howard will go top 10.

McShay has him going #4 to Jacksonville I really don't think he's a reach at #6 at all. With the utter dogshit we've put up with at the position for most of the last 25 years, I say pull the trigger. Especially considering how Bowles has been droning on this offseason about wanting to get the TE more involved.

Andrew Wylie OT Eastern Mich Pro day result. 6052 312 33.5" arms 20 reps 4.95 40 yard dash 34" vertical 9'7" broad jump 4.50 short shuttle 7.23 3-cone His footwork could use a little work, but he could be a nice late round pick to compete with Shell for the RT job.
