Nyahay Bus pays homage to how I bacame a Jets fan. My father had a friend, Frank Nyahay, who owned the Hilltop Bar & Grill at the top of Walnut Street in Yonkers NY. In the late 60s and 70s, Frank had about 60 Jets season tickets that he sold through the bar. He had buses that left from the bar and went to Shea. So that's how I got into the Jets when I was 8 years old. We'd go to the bar, my father would have a few drinks, I'd play shuffleboard bowling and then we'd get on the bus and head to Shea. Great times. Nice! Didn't see that coming, for an answer. Happy bday |
