Really? No other comments on the isles losing to a team that played the night before, with the same goalie, who are among the lowest in the league, and allowed 44 shots on goal?
What a fucking disgrace.
If I'm not mistaking, about now was when Garf pulled the Vanek Panic move.
Garf put toghether a shit roster in the offseason and it shows. What a waste of another of JTs final years here.

I got nothing.
Cappys comments were correct, they let a lot of points walk away this offseason, and havent replaced them yet.
Time for a new coach AND GM? Clean house?

Even Butchie said it, he has to pull the trigger earlier, he waits until hes on top of the goalie.

My God, what the fuck is wrong with this teams penalty kill?
And while we're at it, how about scoring a fucking power play goal?

Hammer out 4-6
Defenseman Travis Hamonic will miss 4-6 weeks because of an upper-body injury, the New York Islanders announced Sunday.
Hamonic sustained the injury after blocking a shot by Edmonton Oilers forward Patrick Maroon during the first period of the Islanders' 4-3 shootout loss to the Edmonton Oilers at Barclays Center on Saturday. He left the game after the shot block and did not return.
In 12 games this season Hamonic has two goals, five points and averages 19:46 of ice time per game.
The Islanders will recall defenseman Adam Pelech from Bridgeport of the American Hockey League on Monday, according to Newsday. Pelech, 22, has four points and a plus-3 rating in 10 AHL games. He had two points in nine games for the Islanders last season.
New York next plays the Vancouver Canucks at home on Monday (7 p.m. ET; NHLN, MSG+, SNP, NHL.TV).
The Islanders have dressed the same six defensemen for 11 of their 12 games this season. They have lost three straight games (0-1-2) and are 1-3-2 in their past six.
