Jets and Isles a combined 9-22. 0.29 winning %. Not bad for a batting avg though.

First NHL coach of the season is fired. Panthers get rid of Gerard Gallant. 23 points in 22 games a season after winning the Atlantic Division title, and the Panthers make a move. Yet, we still have Cappy.

This is what this team has done to me. We won last night, and I don't give a shit. The same way I felt watching the Jets on Sunday. Just couldn't get excited about my team with a chance to knock off our biggest rival. For the Isles, this has become the season we need to sacrifice in order to finally move on from Cappy. I am convinced it won't happen during the season -- miss the playoffs and they cannot bring him back. Lost in the victory last night was another pathetic 3rd period and another blown lead. At least Mr OT, Thomas Hickey bailed us out -- 16 career goals, 5 in OT.

Exactly. A win covered the sins. 0-4 on the power play. 1 goal in 60 minutes. Pathetic 3rd period, AGAIN. At this point, it's better if they lose. A win vs Pitt on Wednesday wouldn't be anything for me to cheer about.
