Another third period letdown? The hell you say! Glad I missed the first two periods, and got to see the third. Oye. We came out flying. Quick 2-0 lead with goals by Zeeker and Ladd. Then Hammer beats Darling for what would have been a 3-0 lead, but Ladd was offside on the play. No goal. About a minute later, Zeeker takes a big hit and gets a stupid retaliation penalty and the Hawks get their first goal on the PP. And the complexion of the game completely changed. Ladd and Cizikas giveth. Ladd and Cizikas taketh away. Side note: Another non HD game again from Comcast in the year 2016. Are you able to get Directv?

I honestly think Cappy and Garth are gone at the end of the season. There is no way the new ownership group can continue with this duo after all of the time they have had at the helm. I was hoping that Ledecky & Malkin would have changed the locks on the coaches office during this game. The first period of this one was fun to watch, but you knew it was bound to end like it did.

I had this one in HD because it was the Hawks, so I have their local telecast. I have no interest in DirectTV. I used to have Dish, and the satellite dish fell off the roof, hanging along the side of the house. Don't want any more dishes on my roof. I also got tired of losing reception during thunderstorms. I will stick with comcast, but how they can offer these sports packages with only 1 or 2 HD games is ridiculous. Last year I bought the online package from NHL.com instead of comcast -- just because I could get all the games in HD.

I don't expect it during the season, but I do not see any way the survive after this year, short of a great 2nd half and a playoff run. Right now, we are 12 points out of the 2nd wildcard and would have to pass 8 teams in the standings. Not likely. This game was entertaining to watch, but still this team is brutal. We came out aggressive on the forecheck, forcing turnovers and taking advantage of those turnovers, and we got away from that game. This team has no identity, seems like we always let the other team dictate the style of play. We try to skate with the Hawks, tried to be physical with the Caps the other day. And the Special Teams have got to be the worst in the NHL. I am becoming surprised anytime we have a successful kill. I don't know how we are still above 80% on the PK. Probably won't be there for long.

They are easily the best carrier for people that love sports, every single game in HD and it has been that way for a decade. It does have its caveats like losing programming during storms but I always felt it was worth the inconvenience in the long run. Can't wait to get my Directv back, probably sometime in May. Fuck you comcast.

I've been on Cappy forever but I've always given Garth a pass because of the Wang factor, but this off season is the perfect time for ownership too put their stamp on this team.

I have DTV. Every game in HD. Thunderstorms don't seem to have much effect on my system. Maybe twice a year I'll lose r caption for a few minutes.

J-F Berube is already in Buffalo. He's starting tomorrow against the Sabres. First start of the year for him. #Isles

LMAO. Got home, turn on the game at the start of the third. Guess what? You'll find this hard to believe, but Buffalo scored to tie it up!

What a culture of losing. It's soaked in this team to the core. Unfortunately we're stuck with this loserlogged team for the rest of the season. Nothing will change until mid April, and even that's not a given.

So I'm going to ask my son today what's our second favorite team. I just can't stand to watch this third period broken record loser story anymore. We gotta find some other team to watch good hockey, or at least different hockey. Gotta find a team with at least an exciting style of play.
Any suggestions?
